Cannot get any reception in my house. Am actually missing calls in my house because my phone cannot get a signal to receive the call. Was told there was going to be a new tower going in that would strengthen my signal, so I signed a new contract. After too many dropped calls, I spoke to customer service yesterday and there is no new tower.Was this review helpful to you?
I used to get excellent reception with Sprint at home and in the neighborhood. The past 4 months service has really changed. Now my calls break up and drop constantly in the house. Many times, the phone doesn't even ring, it just goes into voice mail. Service is also terrible in the neighborhood. A friend mentioned my problems started about the time they started working on I-10. Anyone else having a problem on the west side (Grant / Silverbell) that started about then?Was this review helpful to you?
I've been a customer for 15 years now (back when it was Airtouch Cellular and Verizon bought them out). My job requires me to travel around Tucson and Green Valley (and occasionally up to Phoenix). I'm literally on my phone all day long and have only dropped a call a handful of times. In conversations with all of our clients, they have patchy coverage with just about every other provider with many dropped calls. I was an AT&T customer for 3 yrs and then through the duration of Cingular. Now that it is AT&T again I'm dumping this service for lack of service!! I would have a drop call now and again with Cingluar but NEVER lost service in Tucson. Now, since the end of August, I have have periods of time up to 19.6 hours of no service what so ever, and this was even driving around the city. I used to have service in my home and now I do not at all. The service on UA campus sucks as well. I recommended a person to Cingular(AT&T) because I had service on campus and of late neither one of us do. I know 3 other people that are experiencing the same lack of service. When you call AT&T they say it's your phone. How can it be your phone when others are experiencing this as well????? Oh yeah, I've been to ND, MN, DC, TX, GA and Italy since August and my phone picked up service in all areas--even on the island of Capri, so you can't tell me it's my phone... ... ... To bad too, I racked up some hefty international bills over the past few years so I'm taking my money and loyalty elsewhere. I'm tired of seeing other people walking and driving around and being able to use their cell phone!!Was this review helpful to you?
Awesome reception around campus, along Speedway, Broadway, Campbell, Swan, etc... I get 2 or more bars everywhere I go, including my home (south of Grant at Campbell), which is a dead spot for just about every carrier. My parents live in Oro Valley (La Canada and Naranja) and my reception is perfect there as well. WAY TO GO, VERIZON!Was this review helpful to you?
Absolutely horrid reception just north of campus. I switched from Verizon in June, and cannot believe how bad the coverage is in this large city! Speedway is spotty. Grant, forget about it. On campus is great, but surrounding campus is terrible. Reminds me of cell carriers in the mid '90s! I've returned to Verizon.Was this review helpful to you?

The area Between Irvington Rd.down to Valencia Rd.and from Mission road to I-19 is hit and miss. This area is going in businesses and is full of homes. But does AT&T care?Was this review helpful to you?
