I get 0 to 1 bar in my house, but usually a network reject or no service warning. Outside I usually get 1 to 2 bars. Travelling aroung town I vary from 3 -4. Big cities I can get 5 bars. T-Mobile sucks! I will be switching to Verizon or Sprint as soon as my contract is over! Was this review helpful to you?
I was disappointed with T-Mobile's poor reception in my house and in various areas in Tucson. I switched to Verizon three weeks ago and have yet to drop a call. I took a trip to Washington DC and my service was great there as well. If you're into EVDO service, that has not yet made it to Tucson, at least not my area. But for voice reception, Verizon is top notch in Tucson! Was this review helpful to you?
Can't make a call without walking across the street. Real convenient for those late night booty calls. Was this review helpful to you?
Dropped calls all the time. Occasional call to someone on my contact list and end up connected to someone else's conversation (NOT the person on my contact list that is listed on my phone screen) No service in most of my house and a lot of areas of Tucson. I complained a lot and eventually they let me out of my contract so I switched to Verizon. So far so good. Much better service. Was this review helpful to you?
If I stand on a chair on my patio, I may get coverage. But when I do, again it drops. Was this review helpful to you?
I just cant believe all the lies by Cingular, as I have read and personally heard. The service stinks. It seems they make enough money from all of us here who gets terrible reception, to put in a tower or two. But I guess we have to learn the hard way. Since they refuse to do anything about it. I have Dropped Calls daily. no reception at all daily. Its just terrible. They would sure fine us to stop their service early, but to bad we cant find them for their awefull service. Was this review helpful to you?
I live in Rita Ranch and I get only 1 bar. The slogan about raising the bar does not apply here and for what I can see most of Tucson. Was this review helpful to you?
Reception along Sunrise area between about Orange Grove and Swan is terrible. Dropped calls if there's a signal at all. Most of the time in this area I have no signal at all.Was this review helpful to you?
I had had bad reception at my apartment with my old Motorola V180 since I moved to my current apartment in August '05. So, I got a Nokia because it was supposed to have the best reception of any T-Mobile compatible model at the time (October '05). I get good reception with my phone in much of Tucson--always a full signal anywhere on the U of A campus, even in my basement office. However, the reception in my apartment is spotty at best. I am lucky to get three to four bars (of a total of seven). I drop almost any call at about the half-hour point or earlier. I have had good customer service with T-Mobile since Feb 2003. I had great reception with the Motorola in my previous home in Lexington, KY and before that in Bowling Green, OH. But I'm at my breaking point with the crappy reception in my current apartment. I'm definitely moving to Verizon and snagging the Motorola E815 (supposed to be one of the best for reception) when my contract is up in October or when someone takes over my contract on celltradeusa. Areas where I get no service at all: Albertson's on Glenn and Campbell, anywhere in the Sonoran-Desert Museum. Was this review helpful to you?
Have had Sprint for over 3 years and get decent coverage around Tucson except at home where you might get one bar. Reported this to Sprint and was told that this area is a known black hole and there was no fix in site. Was this review helpful to you?
