Verizon
There is fair to poor service. Does not look like Verizon is going to do anything about it.

Verizon has very good reception at our location. Their billing management needs a lot of work. If you go into the store and make a change or want to add something the information doesn't get to the website. If you have to make a change to your service in any way, follow up to make sure the change is done correctly.

I wish people would just give comments on reception. I don't care really about your bad customer service experience, as all the services lack in that department. But I have Tmobile, which was an improvement on ATT on my iphone 4s. 2 years ago ATT suddenly went 4 to 2 bars, suddenly dropping many of my calls. I wish I could tell who the superior carrier is from this site. It would help me decide where to purchase my new serivice plan.

Cannot make calls or text from within house. Have to go to back patio.

You would think that living out toward Vail would affect coverage but we get great voice and data coverage. Verizon just needs to take a look at their pricing because it is too expensive for the average American household budget. We will probably switch once Sprint finishes their build-out in Tucson with LTE. Verizon has no clue what's coming.

Good reception in our area. We added a femtocell to improve the signal in our house and to gain signal for the security system. This was a good idea, as our security system installer was on AT&T and couldn't get a signal in the house. He told us Verizon is the only provider that has a strong signal in our area to support a wireless connection on their security systems.

Everyone raves about Verizon and I was willing to take on the extra expense after so many dropped calls using sprint. Initially when I started with Verizon a year ago, it was good. However, approximately, 4 months ago, I started loosing signal strength in my home. I had to go outside in order to dial out. I called customer service and they said they would look into ti. It was supposed to take 5 days. After 10 days I called them back. and had to go through the same troubleshooting as the first call even though I had a ticket number. GrrRR! THE INIAL REPRESENTATIVE TOLD ME I WOULD HAVE TO PAY for a signal extender which would give me a range of 15 feet in my house ($250). Still not giving e a reason why I had service for 9 mos and now none. When I went off on her, she finally put me through to tech support. Bottom line: they were using AT&T towers when I signed up and quit using them when my service stopped. Now they are letting me out of my contract, if the extender does no work. Should have gone with AT&T to begi with.

I always have reception and never drop any calls but the signal is weak and the data speeds are usually slow even when I'm on the LTE network. Our second line has an iPhone on it and reception is worse.

Not only is the reception bad, no one at Sprint sticks to anything they say. I, too, was told if I signed up for another line for 30 days my son could get a deal on his "free upgrade" phone. Suffice it to say, 9 months later I'm still paying $32 / mo. for a 5th line I never use and Sprint says, "We don't need your business." 20 years I've fought them and I'm just exhausted. I don't care how much it costs to buy out my contract as long as I can avoid these inane phone calls to Customer Dis-service!

I don't know what everyone is talking about with dropped calls. Never had one yet. Verizon is the best, hands down. I do wish it were not so expensive. Family of 4 paying almost $250 a month. Ouch! Unlike Geiko, with Verizon you do "get what you pay for".
