Good reception in our area. We added a femtocell to improve the signal in our house and to gain signal for the security system. This was a good idea, as our security system installer was on AT&T and couldn't get a signal in the house. He told us Verizon is the only provider that has a strong signal in our area to support a wireless connection on their security systems. Was this review helpful to you?
Everyone raves about Verizon and I was willing to take on the extra expense after so many dropped calls using sprint. Initially when I started with Verizon a year ago, it was good. However, approximately, 4 months ago, I started loosing signal strength in my home. I had to go outside in order to dial out. I called customer service and they said they would look into ti. It was supposed to take 5 days. After 10 days I called them back. and had to go through the same troubleshooting as the first call even though I had a ticket number. GrrRR! THE INIAL REPRESENTATIVE TOLD ME I WOULD HAVE TO PAY for a signal extender which would give me a range of 15 feet in my house ($250). Still not giving e a reason why I had service for 9 mos and now none. When I went off on her, she finally put me through to tech support. Bottom line: they were using AT&T towers when I signed up and quit using them when my service stopped. Now they are letting me out of my contract, if the extender does no work. Should have gone with AT&T to begi with. Was this review helpful to you?
I always have reception and never drop any calls but the signal is weak and the data speeds are usually slow even when I'm on the LTE network. Our second line has an iPhone on it and reception is worse. Was this review helpful to you?
Not only is the reception bad, no one at Sprint sticks to anything they say. I, too, was told if I signed up for another line for 30 days my son could get a deal on his "free upgrade" phone. Suffice it to say, 9 months later I'm still paying $32 / mo. for a 5th line I never use and Sprint says, "We don't need your business." 20 years I've fought them and I'm just exhausted. I don't care how much it costs to buy out my contract as long as I can avoid these inane phone calls to Customer Dis-service!Was this review helpful to you?
I don't know what everyone is talking about with dropped calls. Never had one yet. Verizon is the best, hands down. I do wish it were not so expensive. Family of 4 paying almost $250 a month. Ouch! Unlike Geiko, with Verizon you do "get what you pay for".Was this review helpful to you?
Our reception on the ATT network is 3-4 bars in our home at all times. But we have just now started to receive excessive data charges (1 GB extra each 2 days, ridiculous) after normal billings for some years. Was this review helpful to you?
Have never had a problem with reception, clarity, dropped calls. Down to Green Valley, through Oro Valley, and up to Phoenix. It is expensive, and I was thinking of switching,,but after reading reviews here I am not going anywhere! Was this review helpful to you?
In Europe this summer, it was fantastic to have data, texting and 20 cpm calling between our 5 phones. Goodbye roaming! I would love to stick with T-Mobile. Sadly, coverage is very spotty at home in Oro Valley, with dropped calls and, worse, voice messages that arrive one week late! Wifi calling helps a little inside the house, but reception is often garbled. We switched from Verizon, which worked fine, and will be switching back very soon. Was this review helpful to you?

It looks like AT and T might have added towers recently because my reception has been really good. When we first moved out her it was horrendous and I was considering changing carriers but I stuck it out because only AT and T had the phones I wanted. Glad I was patient enough because reception is now good. FYI We moved out to Sahuarita 4 years ago.Was this review helpful to you?
