I've had Verizon since 2001, and never have had a major issue with cell reception until early in this year (2017). My wife's phone (Apple 7) and mine (LGV20) both have horrible service in our house as of this year. I've lived at the same location since 2010, and have never had bad service. They have to have changed something (probably to save money) since they have the "best" service in town. But at their high price point, we are probably going to switch to have bad service at a less expensive price. At least that's my logic at this point. As other have stated, we sometimes have to go outside or move to other areas of our house. Also in our neighborhood (Valencia Reserve) people cannot hear us. I've also experience bad service on our side of town at my sons school (Craycroft Elementary) as well as other areas. They said nobody else has complained in this area, but after looking at these reviews, it is most obvious that it is a major issue and something has got to change. I'm not sure what they did, but it made a huge difference in the quality of their cell reception. One time I walked out of my garage into my driveway, and the person I was on the phone with still couldn't hear me. It's just unacceptable in every way.Was this review helpful to you?
Every single call I make people say I'm cutting out of fading out and I haven't moved positions. So I change my phone to my other ear or sit up and reception changes then the same thing happens! My bathroom, office and kitchen are the worse places in my house! Every single call is a challenge and so frustrating that I just end up hanging up! I am so angry that I pay the amount I pay only to be frustrated! I'm paying for the insanity! I've called Verizon many times over the 1.5 years living here. Tried resetting network settings, they've rest my phone, went from data and voice to just data, tried wifi calling, and now a new SIM card! They suggested I buy a $250 network extender! Really! So now I need to spend $250 more dollars in order to pay them for AHEM service for something something even Verizon says might not fix it! It's insane! Was this review helpful to you?

Worst customer service I ever encountered. I highly urgently extremely recommend you use a different carrier. They don't care about youWas this review helpful to you?
The reception in our area has been terrible for a long time now. It is very slow and most times does not connect. Was this review helpful to you?
Started out with AT&T SIM card, zero reception at home, vendor (Consumer Cellular) switched me to T-Mobile SIM card, same issue... zero reception at home. Spouse purchased Verizon phone, works great. Was this review helpful to you?
I am a Lyft driver and often drive north of my location. I lose contact with Lyft and Waze just north of my address. My contract with Sprint spits in September. I will be switching back to AT&T.Was this review helpful to you?
I can drive south on Greasewood and easily get 4 bars till I get behind Tumamoc Hill and then it drops to 1. Guess where I live? T mobile did the same thing. Was this review helpful to you?
Hi I'm a Verizon Customer and New to the Vail AZ district. I have no complaints what so ever. I have a IPhone 7 with them and works great out here. When I first moved out here I was a AT&T customer for many many years lets just say since the 1st iPhone came out. I tried everything with AT&T to keep them cause I also have DirecTV with them and I was getting a bundle discount but I always had to be connected to my WiFi to use my services. I also order a mini tower and paid $199 for it that didn't help. I was force to do WiFi calling cause my services sucked. So finally I decided to leave AT&T and take the hit on my DirecTV Bill and go with Verizon. I'm so happy I did cause now I'm paying for services that work and don't have to connected to my WiFi to go on line or make a call. So I hope this HELPS any body that reads my message. I pay $240 4 lines unlimited data and insurance and also 10gs of hot spot for each line. I know it's a lot but it's worth every penny of it. Thanx and God BlessWas this review helpful to you?
I have Consumer Cellular - there is no reception anywhere in Tucson, not at home, not at work, not anywhere I've tried. The phone worked great at my parents' house in Lake Havasu City, but I live in Tucson. Was this review helpful to you?
