Verizon is a great provider. I travel the whole state for work and pleasure. I can get reception in places that amaze me sometimes. Verizon may not be the most affordable plan but you get what you pay for!Was this review helpful to you?
Started new job near intersection. Calls are frequently dropped and often are treated as roaming even though I am close to I-25. No choice but to find new provider. Considering between Verizon (best coverage / solid reception) and T-Mobile (best phones / average coverage). Was this review helpful to you?
I get dropped calls ALL the time. Almost 1 / 2 or 1 / 3 of all my calls. Half the time there's no service: It is terrible! Don't sign up with Sprint. The other person rating Sprint good must be an employee because everyone knows Sprint sucks in Albuqueruqe. Was this review helpful to you?
I have been pleased with Nextel. Coverage and reliability are great. I have a free incoming call plan that saves me a bunch of money; Up to 800 mins incoming + around 200 out going each month, not including nights and weekends. Was this review helpful to you?
I have been a Verizon Wireless customer for about 5 years and overall have been very pleased with their reception. The only real trouble is that when I am east of Tramway it's not unusual for calls to drop. I don't believe that this has anything to do with Verizon though; reception for all carriers fades the closer you get to the mountain. however I don't have recent experience with other carriers. I am an outside sales person so I drive all over Albuquerque every day and go to Santa Fe on I-25 once per week. Dropped calls are rare regardless of location when I am west of Tramway. Verizon's customer service, when I've needed it, has also been top notch. I am reluctant to abandon such a fine company but am contemplating a move to T-Mobile in order to get a phone that Verizon doesn't support. Was this review helpful to you?
Some dropped calls, but overall works good all around town. Usually never see less than 3 bars. Was this review helpful to you?
I've been with Sprint for a year now, and the service seems to be very "hit or miss." I just got a new phone, and the service is horrible. I went to every room of the house, outside, to the garage. It only improved when I plugged the phone into the charger (making it an IMmobile phone). I've also had some problems with the billing. As for the reception, I think it's a combination of the location and the phone. However, I live about a half mile from a Sprint store, directly in the middle of Albuquerque. I'm going to try and get out of my contract, because my phone is virtually useless. Was this review helpful to you?
Sprint is by far the best service in Albuquerque. I have never had a dropped call and further have never even heard my service flicker. The Central Store has by far the best customer service and the smallest lines. Was this review helpful to you?
AT&T Wireless (GSM)
AT&T absolutely sucks in Albuquerque for Both GSM and TDMA. I was with them for over 2 years and finally got fed up. Now I have Verizon, and I love it. I have had probably less than 10 dropped calls with Verizon in that past 2 years. Verizon rocks. Was this review helpful to you?
