Service is getting worse. Verizon says it is because of the traffic on 215. More than half the time I lose or do not get a connection. Was this review helpful to you?
About 3 years ago I left Sprint because when they started switching to 4g LTE their service went to crap. Then I switched to Verizon who provide excellent service always averaged about 50mb / s and even when driving to California or Arizona I never dropped my signal even in the really rural areas. Finally I switched to T-Mobile because I wanted the Nexus phones and Verizon doesn't support sim cards. T-Mobile is now my favorite carrier, while I do not get the same consistent signal that Verizon offered, I do average about 25-35mb / s and I get a much more affordable phone bill for unlimited data. T-Mobile also has a lot better options for streamers with unlimited stream. I give 4 stars cause nothing is perfect and I do get issues with messages not sending or dropped calls but they are the best for your buck in Vegas. Was this review helpful to you?
Very good service. I rarely get a dropped call inside my home or not. 4G LTE is fast and fluid. Tower nearby (On Hollywood / Vegas Valley)Was this review helpful to you?
324 bars but speeds at 3G when doing speed test, the old dial up was betterWas this review helpful to you?
Sprint coverage is bad across the United States. However, it seems to be worst than average in Las Vegas, NV. I dont understand how Sprint seems to be getting worse from a coverage perspective. Are they putting towers out of service? Was this review helpful to you?
At&t is absolute garbage, and their customer service is the same. I can't get a call out if I'm not standing next to my patio door or on my balcony, which is ridiculous. If someone calls me, I can answer and they will hear me say 'hello', and then the signal drops even lower so that they can no longer hear me talk, even though I can hear them. I had my phone tested at Apple, and all diagnostics showed no issue with the phone - it is strictly a carrier problem. If this was way out in the middle of nowhere, I'd understand. But this is 15 from the strip, and it's also a heavily developed part of town. My friend has T-Mobile and stayed at my place for 5 days without ever having one issue. I have 1 bar at best, and my friend consistently had 3 or better. And it's not just Las Vegas... . I have reception trouble in other major cities as well (Chicago, San Diego, Phoenix), and so do many friends who have recently decided to leave AT&T. There's no excuse for their service anymore; they are useless and unreliable, and when comparing to other carriers, they honestly don't have anything to offer giving them an advantage. If I'm going to suffer with lousey reception, I might as well do it for a lot less with another carrier that isn't so greedy and stuck in the stone age. After 18 years of being their wireless customer, I am DONE!Was this review helpful to you?
I don't know what the other reviewers problem is; maybe a bad phone. I am on and off Nellis a few times a week since I work for a contractor. I get 4 to 5 bars and data rates of 15Mb plus. Was this review helpful to you?
No 4GLTE. Best case, service is 3G and generally only with one bar. Can make calls, but texts take forever to send. Data, Internet? Forget about it. Many times 3G drops to 1X. Battery life is drained at incredible rates as phone is always losing and attempting to regain signal. Was this review helpful to you?
My phone only gets 1 bar for server with AT&T. What is going on? This is absurd! Was this review helpful to you?
Sprint LTE coverage is so abysmally bad. RootMetrics claims Sprint is a formidable carrier in Las Vegas when in fact Sprint is the bottom of the barrel worst service you could ever have. LTE coverage sucks and barely works even outside, 3G is so slow its pointless and 1X is a nightmare even for phone calls. Calls waver and chop in and out. You'd be better off investing in a roll of coins for a payphone and using WiFi hotspots. Was this review helpful to you?
