AT&T

1 Out of 5 (1 star) | Montecito Drive, Montecito Heights, Ca 90031, Los Angeles, CA 90031 |

I have tried endlessly to get AT&T to upgrade their service where I live in an area of Los Angeles called Montecito Heights which sits about 3 miles north of downtown Los Angeles. Since moving here about 3 years ago my service has gone from spotty to non existent. This last time I called them a tech called me back and said there is nothing wrong with their network. HA HA. I dare them to come to the 800 block of montecito Drive, Los Angeles.ca and see their crappy network. They should be forced to put a white spot on the coverage map where I live. But, nope they refuse to actually leave their air conditioned cubical to fix / Improve their network. They even tried to sell me what they call a " Micro Cell" to boost my service,,,,,,,excuse me but I already pay for service why would I want to pay more just to get the service I am already paying for. I was even thinking about hitting up Verizon, sprint, etc,, to do a commercial about their competitor ( AT&T ).

Sprint

0 Out of 5 (0 stars) | Westlake, Los Angeles, CA 90057 |

Sprint has good customer service but lousy phone and data. I really can't take it much longer with them! I've insisted on bill credits with them and gotten them because of the lousy service but that's getting tired to. I left Verizon for them because of the terrible customer service but I'm going back and just deal with it!

T-Mobile

2 Out of 5 (2 stars) | Sutherland St. | Sunset Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90026 |

Voice drop due to automatic switch between 4G / LTE to 2G for some apparent reason. Slow speed when on data unless it's 3AM then it improves slightly.

Verizon

2 Out of 5 (2 stars) | East End of Glenoaks Canyon, Glendale | Glenoaks Blvd. and Harvey Rd., Glendale, CA 91206 |

I live at the eastern end go Glenoaks Canyon (the 2700 block of Glenoaks Blvd.). I get below average to poor signal for voice and texting with Verizon. My friends with AT&T service get absolutely no signal. Anecdotally, T-Mobile seems to get a little better signal, although I have not confirmed this.

Verizon

Absolutely no signal. Verizon even comp'ed a network extender but my AT&T U-verse Internet service does not support fast uplink speeds, so calls drop while on the network extender.

Terrible reception with consistent dropped calls. Same problem at Olympic and Tremaine.

T-Mobile

1 Out of 5 (1 star) | Santa Monica Blvd. And La Brea Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90046 |

I hardly ever drop a call in Los Angeles but unless I'm connected to Wifi, I cannot get data throughout the entire city which is so aggravating. I love the price of T-Mobile no contract plans but it's not worth it and I'm going to switch.

Verizon

3 Out of 5 (3 stars) | Normandie / 9th St. (James Wood) , Los Angeles, CA 90006 |

4G LTE has always been horrible here and still has not improved, despite Verizon supposedly upgrading the speed. Speeds are around 1MB down / 3 MB up. Have to use wifi instead which is much faster.
