Their 4G used to be good. Now that 5G is out you can tell the 4G is either being throttled on purpose, or they are no longer really supporting it. I don't want 5G. There was never anything wrong with 4G. Sadly, Verizon used to be the best of the best. No longer.

VZW poor coverage 2 bars if any but like most of CA its the NIMBYs not in my backyard preventing real cell towers. Everytime I visit LA its spotty at best. AT&T is the same.

I cannot make any calls when I’m driving around the immediate area including 90247, Redondo beach Boulevard, Crenshaw, Cellular service is horrible. I barely get more into bars on my phone

Keeps saying No Service and I have to turn phone off. When I first used to visit here, my service was fine, but after I moved here and connected to WIFI now Verizon forces me to use WIFI all the time and I pay premium for 75gb high speed 4glte and Unlimited Data which is worthless if I can’t use it or hotspot my tablet as needed. I can’t transfer because I am under contract paying off my phone so it really s**ks.

Failed calls people call and I don’t even receive a missed call it’s been going on for years recently the call will cut off in 10 seconds or less when you have a business and customers can’t reach you they call someone else and you lose out on customers this is unacceptable. I called like 40 times to the.611 customer service and the call keeps a dropping and they don’t call me back to resolve I have to call again be put on hold and new person doesn’t know so I have to explain all over again.. I can call and receive calls other places except the most important which is in house where I spend 90 percent of my day.. things that haven’t helped by customers service : Airplane mode Reset network settings Turn on lte volte Turn on WiFi calling The only reason I haven’t left Verizon is because I’m in a family plan with 6 other people and don’t want them to get fined but Verizon is trash horrible worst customer service at the stores it’s even worse don’t buy Verizon if your in the Hawthorne del aire area

att, pretty good reception around most of Torrance, down to Harbor city on PCH, sometimes people say not so clear in the 5 Points area, kaiser, Normandie and PCH never a problem with text sometimes problem calling out, but, old phone thinking of changing to Verizon... so, shopping to see if similar.. most friends in this area with Verizon say, good connection in Torrance and beach cities, not so great on the hill

Generally maybe 1 bar. Dropped calls all the time. Try calling a service provider that you have to wait online only to connect to a real person, explain your problem and half way through the chat to have the call disconnect due to NO COVERAGE... .. WE NEED MORE COVERAGE IN THIS AREA!!
