I have been an AT&T customer for years and used to have a good service at home, however, in the past few weeks the 4-5 bars I used to have are down to 1bar or no signal at home. There is a shopping center on La Mirada Ave close to Santa Gertrudes where there is absolutely no reception for years. Now this is also happening where I live. I will be switching providers if the problem doesn't get fixed.

Per the AT&T coverage map I should have flawless data service. I always have 4 bars but Internet and texting is hit or miss every day that I have owned this phone. Sometimes switching airplane mode on and off allows me to use the data but it is only for a few minutes. I carpool 86 miles each way daily and the entire time I have no problems until I get into the airport area. AT&T service is sad there. 2 towers within a mile of the airport and I can't use data when I want. I wonder what would happen if I gave apples GV jet the same service that they give me.

Receptions is surprisingly good. Transmission via voice, web, and text are all quite good. 3-bars, 3-G, older model phone add up to reliable calls, web access and flawless texting.

Phone jumps into roaming at times. 3g constantly drops in and out. had FULL reception for both data and voice not 1 month ago. Now, it is terrible, at best.

At&t... Absolutely ridiculous, absolutely crap. I've been living in my neighborhood for 2 years now. The cell reception was fairly weak then, usually 2-3 bars, and very rarely 4 bars. It has actually gotten WORSE. Now I have 1-2 bars, and many times absolutely NO RECEPTION AT ALL. and forget about data usage, unless you're using your WiFi. I find it absolutely disgusiting that if I am expecting an important call, I have to go outside, across the street and wait for it - sometimes that doesn't even work. At&t maybe fine if you are giving your kid a phone - but it is.absolutely worthless as a business tool. Unless you plan on conducting all of your phone calls while in your car on the freeway... No problems with reception there...

Absolutely zero reception for the good majority of long beach... sick and fed up, contract is up in 2 months and Verizon here I come..I'd rather pay a little more but actually be able to USE MY CELL PHONE
