Cingular, as well as T-Mobile, get little, to no reception in this area along Rosecrans. I have tried 4 different phone models and invariably drop the call. Cingular must be co-located or roaming on T-Mobile.Was this review helpful to you?

Bluff Park--ATT was horrible for 4 years, Cingular is even worse, doesn't matter what phone, I've had 4 of them. I'm going to try Verizon and will report. Cannot use Cingular anywhere south of 4th st, many dropped calls at Cherry and 7th and inside any buildings. Phone is useless in Bluff Park. Was this review helpful to you?
T-Mobile has a pretty good reception in this area. I have never had any reception problems with T-Mobile. Great! Coverage. Was this review helpful to you?
My reception is never consistant. Some times it will drop out altogether. Was this review helpful to you?
I'm lucky if my phone even rings. Alot of times I get a missed call or voicemail notification a few hours later. The strange part is the phone works great everywhere over the US: NY, CHI, and ATL. This location has issues. Was this review helpful to you?
Calls never come in directly, just the notification of voicemail. Two weeks ago, cell coverage was down completely from 4pm to 2am.Was this review helpful to you?
I get no reception with Nextel or Sprint at 2514 E Willow St. in Signal Hill, CA. I work from home and this is a real problem. If I go 2 blocks in any direction (except downhill on Cherry) I have perfect reception. There is a Sprint / Nextel store on the other side of Cherry and I get perfect reception there. The only carrier that seems to work with no dropped calls around here is Cingular. I've used them before and they are lousy, but it looks like I'll have to switch. With all this money being pumped in to Signal Hill why is there no cellular service in certain areas? I have 3 phones as I run a business out of my house and I just renewed my contract with Nextel before moving here. It will cost me $400 to get out of it. Does anyone know if there is a law stating that they have to actually provide service in order to hold me to the contract? Was this review helpful to you?
I've gone through two different phones while using Cingular. I've now come to realize that it's not neccessarily Cingular's fault when I have poor reception. It's also the type of phone I have had. Ever since I upgraded to my new Nokia phone reception has been great. Even in elevators and at high altitudes. I used to drop calls in my bedroom all the time; Now I don't. I haven't dropped a call in 2 months. Before I was thinking of cancelling my service but now I'm very happy with Cingular. Was this review helpful to you?
