Just got this hotspot, updated software and been comparing to VerizonWireless MiFi 6620. Sprint consistently returning better results than Verizon. Sprint usually on band 41, 3 to 4 bars, -90db, downloads at 11 mbps, uploads at 8 mbps. Verizon on band 4, 1 to 2 bars, -105db, downloads at 3 mbps and uploads at 1 mbps. However, got Verizon on band 2 this morning and wow - comparable performance to Sprint! However, it lasted may 1 hour and then Mifi 6620 reverted back to band 4 (i.e., slow). Sometime band 13 better. Rating Sprint coverage as average in this area as I've seen better Sprint and VerizonWireless elsewhere.

1-2 bars, that's it. Service is slow and crappy. 15 years with AT&T and now it's time to move on.

1 to 2 bars typical, 3 maybe. Best reception on Band 4, @ -99db for Verizon LTE. Best speeds at 4kbps down and up - average usually 1.5kbps. Issue is not my devices as I'm getting 25kbps downloads in Seal Beach. Poor coverage in this area and forget any bandwidth when there is an event in the marina / convention center (like the Grand Prix, Pride, etc.). Verizon's new LTE Advanced network not appearing to help based on neighbor's new iPhone 7. Will be trying Sprint (reviews don't seem encouraging) but it's got to be better than this.

Poor reception here in lakewood, one bar is ridiculous, thought ATT had more bars than anyone. Time to shop around.

I have a good signal I have no problem making or receiving phone calls my uploading speed is very good my downloading he is so slow it buffers 0.02 it's been like this for years we keep writing fix tickets and it never gets fixed does inparts of Bellflower

Cell phone coverage is very poor, rarely get 1 or 2 bars reception, call clarity sucks, many dropped calls.

Pretty much can't use my phone unless I'm on WiFi. Reception is so awful and data is so slow I'm actually thinking of switching carriers. AT&T is horrible almost everywhere in Downey.

2016 and Very poor reception in home and neighborhood. Must be connected to wi-fi at all times to get any kind of service. I work from home- internet with Time Warner is decent for computer work. Phone calls are dropping constantly and text messages with any kind of data (photos) take forever and often do not send at all.

I've lived all over Long Beach for over 25 years. Sprint worked pretty nice. Then it dive bombed and has yet to make good on their lies about better coverage and the 4g LTE. Where I am now, worst reception ever. Especially with 4g and data. I'm in hell.

I have ATT and needed unlimited data but after 2 hours I knew that the service was not ever going to be anywhere near what I actually get with ATT. I had hoped that it would at least be decent, especially since it was unthrottled, unlimited $70 / month. I realize their maximum is 8Mb / s but barely 7% of the theortical max is not acceptable. I called their customer service immediately and wasted 45 min as they would just pass me from manager to manager, and lied when I asked if they were the manager of the previous person. Very disappointed, I would have happily paid $70 / month if I got even half the speeds advertised. For reference I used an Iphone 6S plus as well as an Iphone 5S and am very familiar with electronics, cell phones, computers, networking, etc.
