My service is great all over this country - I work in the travel industry - but I can not get ANY reception at my home. What's wrong with this picture? Sprint keeps telling me that I'm crazy. I completly rely on my cell service for work, yet I can't get phone calls. I do however get some voicemail, but it is usually hours after the message is recorded. Was this review helpful to you?
My phone carrier is T-Mobile and inside my house, I could never get any service. Most of my calls are being dropped and when I receive and make calls, I mostly hear static. When I look at my phone, most of the time I would only get one or two bars if I am lucky. But most of the time, my phone just says "Emergency Calls Only". I just hope they can do something about this because I Have tried using other phones just to see if I can get a better signal but my phones all turned out the same. And i'm not the only one complaining, my neighbors are also complaining about the service we've been receiving. Was this review helpful to you?
my Motorola phone gets good signal outside about 2-3 signal bars but when I go inside its very bad. I got the Samsung t809 but that phone drops several calls and doens't get a lot of signal. I'm thinking about changing my phone company to Cingular because they get better signal in buildings especially stores and schools were T-Mobile fails to get anything. Was this review helpful to you?
Sketchy on Wilmington. Gets better as you approach the 405.Was this review helpful to you?
Reception in most of the South Bay is very good. Signal drops off along Artesia from Aviation to Hawthorne. May have been the phone though, I've had a SE W600 for a few days now and the signal seemed stronger on that same drive. Was this review helpful to you?
Drop calls to no signal. I have to go outside to make a phone call. AT&T had the best service before they merged with Cingular. Now I feel like one of Cingular's step children. Every time I talk to a Cingular rep about my recpetion problems, they immediately want to switch me to one of their contracts. I tell them "No Thanks". Don't switch to Cingular. They suck. Was this review helpful to you?
Don't get incoming calls most of the times. And even if the call comes in it's dropped usually. Was this review helpful to you?
Reception seems to change with in the same room with most companies and phones, so I'm not sure one can extrapolate this to represent a total experienes. However, GSM systems (Cingular / T-Mobile) tend not to have as good of reception as CDMA / TDMA (Sprint / Verizon) systems. Their 'tracking' seems more consistent. For calling / going overseas and for the ease of a SIM card which stores call info, I still prefer GSM service. There will always be sketchy spots. Was this review helpful to you?
Strong reception. I switched and left the horrible GSM services of Cingular / AT&T... I couldn't stand the numerous dropped calls and it annoys me that my friends who are still on the GSM network are always getting cut off when I'm talking to them from my Sprint service. Generally in South Bay area, I have no issues with Sprint's reception except in portions of Hermosa Beach. Was this review helpful to you?
