I've had Sprint for about 8 years now and for the most part they've been a good company for me, including customer service (especially at 6 am in the morning). I live in a very large complex in this area. I've never gotten good reception within the complex, but I've noticed the past 3 weeks reception within this whole area has been poor to none. My calls are now dropping and I practically have to drive more than a mile away in any direction to even make, let lone receive a call. I've also notice that voice messages and text aren't coming through until hours later. Not sure what's going on, but my contract is up in Nov and if I don't see any improvements, I may need to switch carriers. Was this review helpful to you?
I Work at Harbor UCLA, phone coverage has been really good anywhere in the hospital except in the basement. It works in the elevators as well. Data is another story, Pandora works good using the regular quality setting but tends to pause at times using the high quality setting. I haven't been successful watching videos from you-tube or Facebook, they only work for a few seconds then they pause and take a long time to load. One good thing though, I've always been able to get a data signal; although, its just not fast enough to handle the higher bit rates in audio and video streaming. Was this review helpful to you?

Harbor Pines is an absolute dead zone for AT&T. I am constantly dropping calls in my home, on my way to work, and even at work in Palos Verdes. I was convinced it was my iPhone 4 even *with a case* so I tried out my buddy's Droid with no improvement. It pained me to pay an early termination fee so much that I even bought a $99 Microcell tower at the AT&T store to "improve" my reception with no luck and returned it. My 2 year contract is almost up and I'm changing carriers ASAP. The good news is that there are at least 2 other big carriers in the area that provide my neighbors with excellent coverage. Wish I knew that before I signed the contract before moving in.Was this review helpful to you?
Terrible reception. This building is a wireless nightmare. Was this review helpful to you?
The ATT map is a lie, I had to install a Microcell to get my multiple Iphones to work at all, and even then, ATT should have paid for the Microcell for their rotten service, but refused. Was this review helpful to you?
Per the AT&T coverage map I should have flawless data service. I always have 4 bars but Internet and texting is hit or miss every day that I have owned this phone. Sometimes switching airplane mode on and off allows me to use the data but it is only for a few minutes. I carpool 86 miles each way daily and the entire time I have no problems until I get into the airport area. AT&T service is sad there. 2 towers within a mile of the airport and I can't use data when I want. I wonder what would happen if I gave apples GV jet the same service that they give me.Was this review helpful to you?
2-3 reception bars. Frequent dropped calls, sometimes up to 3 times in a single phone call. I have been with Verizon since 2001 and never had a dropped call, NEVER. I never have a dropped call in my other residence in Palm Springs, NEVER. Only here in this condo. Doesn't help if I go out on the terrace either. Verizon needs another tower. I have heard many people complain about the service in this area. Be careful who you sign up with. Was this review helpful to you?
Receptions is surprisingly good. Transmission via voice, web, and text are all quite good. 3-bars, 3-G, older model phone add up to reliable calls, web access and flawless texting. Was this review helpful to you?
Poor transmission with frequent interruptions. It's frustrating making calls because of loss of contact. Was this review helpful to you?
