Verizon

Consistently dropped calls. We live in a canyon but you'd think carriers would make an investment to improve coverage in the nation's 2nd largest city!

For some reason AT&T won't admit they have a problem here in the west San Fernando Valley. At the Woodland Hills company store, Jordan, blamed and changed the SIM card. No change in reception. Called the manager, Justin, he blamed my old phone. Even after I explained how well the phone works in MT., ID., OR., every where but here. Justin could't hear me and again he blamed the phone. After 13 years with AT&T it's time for a change. Change isn't always good. We will see.

Driving down Vanalden between Chatsworth and Lassen, I lose reception. The closer I am to the school, the worse my recption gets. When I sit outside waiting for my son, I get a "no service" message. My son can't call me but instead tries to text me. Sometimes I get them and sometimes we're half way home before I get his text.

I'm glad I just work in this area and don't live up here. 3G only. Not cool. Get it together, Verizon.

1 star for the 1 bar of signal I get. Only 3G also. Dropped calls often, echos and other oddities. I signed up with Verizon when I lived in Miami. the coverage there was excellent. Looking into T-mobile. At least I'll be paying less for the equally bad coverage.

Tried to get ATT Uverse at home. I was told by the ATT technician that they haven't updated their trunk lines in more than 15 years. With the new streaming demands on ATT, they do not have sufficient infrastructure to handle the load. The other issue is that they have a monopoly in this area which means other carriers can't bypass their trunk lines to come into the area. What does this mean to the average customer in this area? If your home is licated close to the antiquated trunk lones, you will get great service. Te further away you are, the worse the service. You need a higher speed to stream on your computer and smart TV. Their lines can't handle the volume. They offered me 6 G speed at half price for 6 months as a solution. They admitted they couldn't provide that service since the trunk lines are too far away. If you're contemplating ATT, do your homework and ask the right questions. This is the reason you need a landline to get Time Warner, Dish, or Direct TV in this area. ATT is the monopoly owner. How can is happen in a free trade country?

At least, once a week my internet and tv connection go down. U-verse is a bad, expensive, frustrating service but you have to pay as you receive a good one 100% of the time. Going to look for a different company and cancel my contract with AT&T U-verse.

Frustrating- with T-Mobile we have a ton of dropped calls. Never had this problem here with AT&T.

Not enough cell signal to complete calls while inside my house. If I go outside, it improves slightly. Verizon has promised for 4 years that they will be adding a new cell tower. That still has not happened.
