At the end of summer 2012 I suddenly had absolutely no reception at my place of residence. I could receive no calls - calls went directly to voice mail. I used to get perfect reception. Now nothing. I cannot even call voice mail from home - I must walk a quarter mile to get reception. I learned that a tower has been down on Balboa from Sprint salesman. Sprint tech dept. told me this is not true. I got a new phone I phone 5. There is STILL no reception. I cannot get ANY CALLS at all.Was this review helpful to you?
Reception was great until late June 2012. Sprint sent me an AirRave to use to connect through TimeWarner cable (service not good either). Still unable to make calls 70% of the time.Was this review helpful to you?
every iphone I have had with at&T never worked inside my apartment. they tried to tell me it was the phone or the ugrade but it is the SERVICE. service with at&T sucks. I have so many dropped calls inside my north hills apartment. On windy days, no service at all. Sick of it.Was this review helpful to you?
I'm commenting on the evening time and on the internet connection ability on the cell phones in this area because that's when I'm home usually. I get so frustrated that the internet won't have any bars and say error in connecting and you keep hitting retry and on off tricks and airplane mode and then back again and power on power off attempts until you decide to just try later or tomorrow. This evening problem can start as early as 7 pm but usually is most consistent from 1030 pm to early morning. Maybe they feel no one will be up using the internet at this time and reduce the strength of the signal.Was this review helpful to you?

Sprint service has really sucked in this area for 6 months now. Dropped calls and roaming, searching for signal. Several calls to Sprint and the standard answer is we're upgrading the towers in your area and it will be fixed soon. Now the Sprint agents are putting you on hold while they "check something" and cutting you off or tired of dealing with you and switch you to another agent. Horrible customer service and they want $100.00 to get out of the contract. Told them I could not even get emergency service, they said "Your contract does not guarantee reception or if calls are dropped"! What a load. I used to live in North Hollywood and my service was great... for a while. One day it all but disappeared so they sent me an Air Raid device free of charge. I then moved to Burbank and service was fine so I returned the Air Raid device. After about 6 months the service dried up there as well, at least in my imediate area. No more Sprint. Fool me once, shame on me. Fool me twice, time for a new carrier.Was this review helpful to you?
If you are inside an office building or an apartment building you get absolutely ZERO reception. Try calling the "helpful" T-Mobile associates. I was told that service is not guaranteed. Although I pay over $200 a month there is nothing they will do to correct the issue. They will not let you out of the contract either. Sounds like someone needs to get a class action lawsuit going.Was this review helpful to you?

I have been experiencing poor reception, dropped calls, delayed texts and data failure for about 3 months now (since May 2012). I have been told a couple of times that my area was being worked on but it has not gotten any better. On Sprint's coverage map for the area I was in yesterday it is listed as "Best", however my phone dropped voice reception 3 times within the span of the hour.Was this review helpful to you?
