T-Mobile

T-Mobile is spotty when it comes to reception. When you call they tell you to power off your phone and reboot. Tech support is a joke and whats the use of 611 when you have no bars to make the call?!

I'd rate it between a 0 and 1. Live 3 blocks north of Rinaldi; 2 blocks west of Wilbur. No reception whatsoever. I take that back- I can get 1 bar to place a call until it dops- while standing ontop of by bathroom counter on the 2nd story. It really does suck.

I can get reception in the cul-de-sac, but take the phone in the house no reception what so ever.

consistently bad reception everywhere north of Rinaldi between Woodley and Corbin (Granada Hills and Northridge). Many dropped calls, calls not received, etc. Area growing very fast with $1M+ homes. I don't understand why they don't add cell towers.

Recently, Cingular made me swap out my old chip for a new one and ever since the reception on my mobile has been dismal at best. I had the Motorola V60i phone with Cingular. I was extremely satisfied with Cingular and after swapping chips I hardly had any reception in and around my home. So I switched to Verizon yesterday but the reception on my MotoRAZR V3m has not been too great inside my house. I have noticed that the signal strength fluctuates wildly. Seldom the signal strength is good but very frequently it is poor or non existent. Yesterday I had a terrible time activating my phone and was only able to do so after venturing out onto the side walk outside. I'm not sure what is going on. I suspect the chip swapping by Cingular is a way to force people to buy their new phones and service. But I have one of the latest phones from Verizon. I hope someone can post some answers on this website. Thanks.

Thank you, Cingular, for zero bars at my house. Your tv commercial about all of the bars in all places is just a big fat lie. I want to switch to Verizon, or anything better. When will these cell phone companies realize that there are no homes north of Rinaldi that cost less that 3 / 4 million $ and they need to give us better service???

The elementary school on Tiara has very spotty coverage. Some areas outside have decent coverage, but move a few feet and the signal disappears. Inside the buildings there is no real signal. The bars can move from 3-1-0-2 and then drop in seconds time. I'm disappointed. I've been with AT&T and now Cingular for about 5 years. I'm not sure why they don't have a good signal for this area.

It's completely ridiculous! I have barely any to NO RECEPTION in my own home. If I'm lucky I'll get to hear my phone ring. I've missed so many important phone calls. I can't do anything and I have another year in my contract. Cingular pisses me off!

I never had a problem with until they made me upgrade my SIM card about a month ago. Ever since then I have no reception at home and poor reception most other places I go. Customer service is horrible! I've spent countless hours on the phone with them and no one can seem to fix the problem. They sent me to the store twice, only to be told at the store they couldn't help me. They thought maybe I had a defective phone so I asked to try a different model and they agreed to give me one for free. But I have a camera phone and they thought it was ok to give me a cheap $29 pay as you go phone as a replacement until I demanded they give me a phone that was the same value as my old phone. They've tried replacing my phone and the SIM card and still horrible reception. I thought they were upgrading the network, not downgrading it!
