I am unable to get reception (can't call out, can't receive calls) in my home, in my office nor in my second office in Woodland Hills. I always need to go outside and walk around to find reception and place calls.

Only a few street near my house that we don't have reception; however, my brother's Cingular phone (Motorola Razor V3) works just fine.

Cingular GSM is much better than a few years ago. Indoors it is still marginal. Better upstairs than downstairs. For important calls I will walk outside or use my landline. On major streets and freeways it is pretty reliable. I grew up with only landlines and I still consider the wireless system a step below!

The area south of Ventura Blvd.off of Reseda Blvd.is a very intermittent cell coverage area. Usually, there is no cell coverage.

Near to no reception. One bar sometimes. If the cellular device is moved as much as one inch from its receptive point, reception is lost. Nearly impossible to make calls. Verizion has a different measurement of signal. Not out of five bars. If possible, a 0.3 rating would be more appropriate to describe the reception in this area. The map of reception towers shows no reception towers being around this area.
