Our LG VX6100 has been replaced as we were unable to place or receive calls, the problem still exists. The phone showed at least 4 bars for reception but still unable to call or receive a call or texts. We will have to get another make to fix the problem. Opposed to that our other phone an Audiovox with new technology, crisp and clear served by Verizon also. The signal bars do not mean much at the end.

Sprint PCS has fairly good reception everywhere except the following 6 block radius in Northridge: Corbin to Reseda and from Chatsworth to Plummer. Every time I'm driving down Tampa from the 118 to the mall my phone drops the call. Annoying! Other than that, Sprint is great, expensive but good. T Moblie sucks!

I get okay reception upstairs but had to upgrade the phone. Still drops calls and is anoying as hell. Calls will definitely drop driving around the neighborhood. Cingular / ATT is worst yet. I wish these companies would recognize we need a new cell site up here with all the million dollars homes being built up here, what's the problem?

Currently have Verizon Wireless, always full reception on them. I'm trying out T-Mobile now because I like the rate plan I selected. Only thing is reception isn't all that great in my house, outside my house I get 3 bars to full reception. In my house in order to hold a conversation I have to find a spot where I get at least one or two bars and I have to use a headset and not handle the phone handset or else I'd lose reception. I called T-Mobile on June 23rd and they told me they're going to have a tech go out and diagnose the problem and correct it within 72 hours. I mean for god sakes I live 0.8 miles away from the tower I should be getting at least 3 bars to perfect reception.

no signal in this area when i'm on my living room I get 1 bar and my bedroom sometime no signal I wish what they say on the commercial is true raising the bar on all cities

Used to have great reception here at home until last Saturday -- suddenly I get no more than 2 bars and I constantly drop calls. Not sure what happened, the Cingular / AT&T merger was a while back, and I noticed better service shortly after.. hoping there is a tower down and will be fixed soon, otherwise I think I need to find a new carrier.
