T-Mobile

I also have a Sony Ericsson P800 and have even worse connection around my apartment.

Little or no reception - one bar. When I signed up with Sprint they did not tell me I lived outside there coverage area. If you do get a connection it gets dropped. Very unhappy. We need to contact the Public Utilities Commission.

I used to have a Samsung with Sprint PCS and the phone worked everywhere! Where my parents live on Marble Dr. in Sherman Oaks, cells don't work. Mine did. It even worked from inside the elevator at my job. We switched to Cingular, and now it doesn't work anywhere! It cuts off all the time. When I stand in my bedroom it gets fuzzy and often cuts off. It doesn't work from my parents house. It's terrible. I'm almost willing to pay whatever fee there is for cancelling the service and switching back to Sprint!

Very poor reception on Freeway 101 from Winetka and Tampa Ave. in Woodland Hills.

The residential area surrounding Germain Elemetary School has very poor reception with T-Mobile, usually 1-2 bars out of 5. Sprint had much better service in this area.

Absolutely zero reception in the hills of Sherman Oaks going up on Sepulveda Blvd. This is the only place I know that has bad Verizon reception, but it just happens that my parents live there - so I am unreachable for the duration of my visits there :(

Unbelievably poor reception in the San Fernando Valley. Some dead spots on major streets are over 2 miles long in Van Nuys North Hills and North Hollywood. Poor to questionable coverage on freeways. Worst of all service has degraded since the beginning of the merger with Cingular and getting worse weekly.

Switched all phones (5 of them) from TDMA to GSM because we heard that GSM would be better and that most of the rest of the World was already on GSM. Well service in general in Glendale, CA is not bad at all, but in Burbank the service often switches to Cingular with about 0 to 1 bar of reception which means you're just plain lucky if you phone connects. Is there some US law limiting the power level? I don't live in Japan, but we do have many co-workers that go there often and they don't seem to be complaining about the poor service. What gives?

Piss poor reception on the WB lot makes the work day really frustrating when you work a freelance lifestyle. I know a lot of folks on our crew are jumping ship. They should get their act together soon. They're losing tons of business...

Poor reception - dead zone. I have to drive to Winnetka and Chase or further to get a signal. I checked AT&T Wireless, the same location gets 3-4 bars using a Samsung SGH-X426. T-Mobile - have had this dead zone for over 2 years, no improvement.
