Verizon

Our cell phones are thru Verizon. The signal is consistently 1 bar or LESS and call quality is dismal at best. Lots of dead spots in this general area. I can't even walk around my house while talking without calls being dropped. Unfortunately, it appears there isn't a reliable carrier in the Porter Ranch area. Not sure how to solve this, but VERY disappointed in Verizon's reception - or lack of.

Sprint is horrible in Encino and most other places in LA. I dont know why they are still around.

No reception, still on 3LTE.. poor service.. Not to mention customer service has gone to the trash. Think I will be switching providers after 13 years with sprint.

Since February, the texting gets very slow. The calls kept dropping and it even says "Emergency calls only". I was happy with T-MOBILE before but now... I'm shopping for something else

Just wrote ATT Mobile's CEO. Was contacted, but they could do nothing for me. They actually suggested I change carriers! Alternatively, that I turn off cellular data while at home. Seriously? They have 2 towers within a mile of me in Friendly Valley. I don't know what they're doing with them. Perhaps they could decorate them for Christmas and 4th of July so they'd be of some use! For all you older folks, think ahead about emergencies. What if you fall, need help and can't get a call out until you've had 10 dropped calls--with a booster installed??! Or if you have a fire?? If you stay with ATT, tell your family to be ready to bring a wrongful death action against them if you die in an emergency because you can't get a call out! If you have ATT, you'll need a land line, just to get what you're supposedly paying for. Too bad Verizon costs three times as much!

After being on Verizon's stellar network for 10 years, I have to say T-Mobile isn't too shabby. Data averages 2.5mbps down and 8mbps up (wish it was reversed) - but over the past week, Thanksgiving 2017, download speeds have been increasing, between 3-5mbps down. T-Mobile is clearly dedicated to improving both their reputation and service, and although I'm not getting anywhere near what Verizon gave me (45mbps down, 12mbps up), I am paying one third of what I paid to VZW. All in all, I am happy.

Only option I now have is to purchase a booster since all major carriers do horribly in my neighborhood. It seems like I have to spend well over $500 for a decent cell reception booster. Does anyone have any recommendation other than cell reception booster?
