Sprint has NO 4G service in San Diego - despite promising it over 2 years ago when the Evo 4G came out... anybody remember WiMAX? That was the 4G standard that Sprint was promising to bring to San Diego within a few months of the Evo 4G launch date. That never happened. And now Sprint has listed over 100 cities that will be "next" to get 4G service in the next year - and San Diego isn't on the list. The San Diego market has been abandoned by Sprint, but we still hold the bill for being tricked into buying 4G phones that Sprint cannot provide ANY service for. Verizon covers every square inch of San Diego with 4G service, so there's no reason Sprint cannot, as well. Sprint has let us down.

Can't even make calls standing in the front yard without being dropped (dropped the same phone number 6 times during 30 min today) But received a call from Texas on Verizon and talked for 90 minues without a drop. Am told I have "excellent" coverage. Really?

Data speeds are very poor, even with 4 bars of reception. I frequently only get 40-100 kpbs download. Filed complaints with Sprint, but they are obstinate.

Reception in Rancho Penasquitos is usually decent, but can be spotty at times. I usually get 2 or 3 bars. 4G reception is good. Some days are good and some are bad. I don't know if it's the weather, or time of day that can drop me down to 1 bar. I have dropped calls before, it's annoying, but doesn't happen often enough to make me want to change providers. Probably because AT&T was the same. I have very good 4G reception at work in UTC area.

Sprint's reception has gotten worse than when I first got my phone with Sprint. There are more dead zones on I-15 in San Diego County, along Mira Mesa Blvd... ..and dozens of other areas in So Cal. So fed up but it's a company phone and I have nothing to do but fume about it! Hate Sprint!
