AT&T Wireless (TDMA)
Up until 2 weeks ago, my reception had been quite good inside the apartment for 2 years. Now, I cannot even make or receive calls at all inside. My street is very spotty, too, suddenly. My coworkers' Sprint PCS phones work great for them, especially inside the hotel where we work, and in the service elevators. Was this review helpful to you?
Dropped calls everyday, very spotty service, magically goes from 3 bars of reception to none all the time. Even when the phone indicate good reception, the phone does not complete calls. Sometimes it takes 7 or 8 calls to the same person just to have a short conversation. Overall very flaky and bad service. Was this review helpful to you?
Dead Zone in house, confirmed by Verizon. Occassional Poor reception, but not long enough to complete calls. Verizon should fix this! Was this review helpful to you?
T-mobile has had excellent coverage in my experience. I have had good coverage in San DIego and Los Andeles as well as during travels in New York, Baltimore, and Miami. Was this review helpful to you?
There's no reception going east right after the traffic light on the Paradise Valley Road and Munda intersection in National City. Was this review helpful to you?
No reception in my home for over a year. A few houses or a block away, I get 4 bars. Once I reach my property, zip, nada. Have called, have tried different models. AT&T customers get reception at my house, but T-Mobile is not in alliance with them. So I'm stuck with a family plan that between 2 households (ours & college kids) we can use only if I leave home. Very good SPCS reception throughout North County San Diego, on I15, I5, entire length of Mira Mesa Blvd and Miramar Rd, entire length of Pomerado and La Jolla, and inside UCSD buildings and on campus (but not in Price Center). Fair reception in my house, works in some parts but not others. Was this review helpful to you?
AT&T Wireless (GSM)
ATT (GSM) signal is consistently 1-3 bars lower than CINGULAR's around town, and it's always bouncing around indoors (jumps from 2 to 3 to 1 to 3, and I'm standing still) which has lead to dropped calls and lost GPRS connections while indoors - Tested with a Nokia 3590 and a 3595. There isn't a diff between the phones (switching SIMs had same results network-wise). ATT's (GSM) network is just not up to par with CINGULAR's.Was this review helpful to you?
I couldn't get very good reception on the first floor of my apartment complex. Was this review helpful to you?
I could generally get reception if I was outside. I couldn't get any reception from my first floor apartment in Warren though. I had to go outside to make calls. Was this review helpful to you?
