no reception whatsoever... the worst the worst! might be the phone (very old model) but phone worked great in other areas.

Verizon sucks. Verizon just replaced my old t720 with a 730 since the old one was blacking out, but the new phone doesn't do any better. 95% of calls dropped. almost no reception. Verizon customer service is the worst. I don't know where the heck Verizon found these people because they are the most unhelpful, rude, and unintelligent bunch. So, if you have a problem, don't ask them. Chances are they don't know how to fix it and / or don't want to help you.

I am not sure the problem- either T-Mobile reception or really cheap phone. My wife and I experience dropped calls,no signal or weak reception constantly. Just when I think I have all 45 "drop spots" identified in my neighborhood- T-Mobile surprises me with yet another one at least once a week. T-mobil has always been good to me as a customer, but..the number of dropped calls is increasing exponentially each week!

Can make some calls. Need to get outside the house or next to window for bars. Sometimes no complains, sometimes I want to throw my phone against the wall.

I've had this service since the Airtouch days, before Verizon, it has always been great no matter where i.ve been. In Anzo Boreago, Yosemite Valley, Mission Beach, Vegas it doesn't matter. this 6255i Nokia is just the latest of many powerful Nokia phones I've had. Always works even in low signal strength areas. Maybe ten dropped calls over the past year. The Nokia phones and the Verizon service work great together.

I have to call from the street or from my window (right by my window). There is a canyon near by and that is probably why the reception is so bad. Even my friend who has Verizon says it is bad too, so the problem is not just Cingular.

It's silly really. I'm in my apartment (3rd floor, no major obstacles) and I get a decent signal. I walk down to my car and WALLAH - no signal. Strange? I don't talk and drive, so I can't comment on dropping calls. So far, I dropped one near Black Mountain Rd and Mira Mesa...

They say this improve by December, but no guarantees.

The entire neighborhood between Clairemont Mesa Blvd.and Tierrasanta Blvd.borders Mission Trails Regional Park. This is a 5,800 acre dead spot just east of Interstate 15. The nearest tower is 3.5 miles to the West and is seriously overtasked. There are also several ridges between here and there. Nobody can get good reception in our house. It doesn't matter what phone or what carrier. The sidewalk in front of the house has slightly better reception but 50-80% of all calls have problems. Imagine spending 15 minutes on hold with DMV only to loose the connection half way though explaining your problem. More than one innocent cell phone was "disciplined" against the wall before we realized how inadequate our coverage was.

Do not get good reception in home. T-Mobile was at least a two bar and the sound didn't cut in and out.
