The signal I get from T-Mobile in the Lemon Grove areas seems descent but can dip down to 2 bars at times.

Sprint

2 Out of 5 (2 stars) | Capricorn | Kelowna Rd., San Diego, CA 92126 |

I had been experiencing very low reception until I called to complain. Suddenly, it is better. Go figure. I wish that I didn't have to call. I wish that I didn't have to hear my family members always asking me if we can switch carriers..

AT&T

1 Out of 5 (1 star) | Balboa Park / Zoo | Park Blvd., San Diego, CA 92103 |

I regularly get 1-2 bars at all times of day in and around Balboa Park and Hillcrest. Also, during phone calls I will get broken reception where I can't hear the other person speaking. This happens on both my iPhone 6 and 7 during calls all over the country. Not reliable and getting worse. Data speed is not consistent or fast either.

Verizon

0 Out of 5 (0 stars) | Central | Massachusetts , Lemon Grove, CA 91945 |

What happened with Verizon? My business operates from home. Had to reconnect AT&T landline since cell phone is worthless here. Had AT&T but it was unreliable. Technology right? Verizon and AT&T keep referring me to tower location and claim I'm wrong, hey, 2nd carrier? Fook it! They can't be bothered. My wife went to Sprint fed up, her phone plan is way cheaper, got a good phone deal too. The signal is a little better here with them. Called Verizon to cancel 2 year contract due to no service. Wtg a call back. This all really sucks in the year 2017 and technology

Sprint

1 Out of 5 (1 star) | All of Coronado, CA, Coronado, CA 92118 |

The actual overall rating for Coronado, California should be below average to no reception. The main problem being that the United States Navy will not allow any company to build a cell tower from Coronado to Imperial Beach. On one street you may have full bars, move one block and you'll have nothing. The signals received in Coronado are coming from downtown San Diego and Chula Vista. Unfortunately, there's no hope in sight to remedy the problem.

T-Mobile

1 Out of 5 (1 star) | Adams Avenue, Normal Heights, San Diego, CA 92116 |

Ten years ago I was a T-Mobile customer and loved them. Not anymore! The signal inside my house is so bad that I cannot use a wireless headset, which is annoying when I'm trying to work on the phone. In fact, there's a 50 / 50 chance that an indoor call will disconnect, regardless. When I go outside I have better reception, but I still have dropped calls, shrill noise on the line, and other miscellaneous problems. T-Mobile sent out a signal booster which I installed. The only think it did was interfere with my wireless printer! Totally disgusted.

AT&T

5 Out of 5 (5 stars) | 4545 Campus Ave. | 8, San Diego, CA 92116 |

I don't know why people are giving AT&T poor coverage review. I moved here May 2016 and still here present January 2017. No issues, no dropped calls! I even commute to La Mesa and no problems. My boyfriend has Verizon and he didn't get service in La Jolla and I did perfectly fine. I recommend AT&T.
