Drops calls left and right at street level... works better on second floor of house. Internet cuts in and out. No 4g.

Switched to T-Mobile from Verizon. Reception with Verizon in this area was amazing, period. However, I switched for reasons that did *not* have to do with reception. I knew reception levels were going to suffer, and I was right, but it's not "that" bad, honestly. I live right in the middle of a 3-story apartment complex where it's admittedly difficult for any cell signal to penetrate. While on Verizon I was able to get an LTE signal anywhere in the house, with T-Mobile I am only able to get HSPA / HSPA+. And that's by the window / balcony; if I'm deeper in the house, I usually can't even hold a signal (voice or data). Once I leave the apartment complex, my signal jumps to full-strength LTE almost immediately, and generally stays there unless I go deep within another building. Bottom line: it's not perfect reception, but given the cost savings (and other benefits that I won't go into, here) over Verizon, I'm absolutely satisfied with it. Maybe over time, technology will improve that will allow their signals to better penetrate buildings.

No reception at all, internet or phone, in the place I just moved to yesterday in Rolando (near College and Stanley). I can't wait until I get my new phone and switch to T-Mobile next week. Sprint and galaxy s3 a joke. I have spotty reception if I go outside, none at all inside my new place. Sucks too because I moved from being under flight path and had bad internet signal then too.

Boost Mobile aka Sprint coverage maps state that I have full reception at my home near Aero Dr. and Sandrock Rd, not true at all. Dropped calls, missed calls, the 3G is worse than dial-up. I also travel to Ramona 92065 alot and find full reception without the ability to talk or send txt : / Several Sprint towers are there, so I don't understand the probem.

At work in Oceanside, my reception is spotty. At home in San Diego, it's great! I don't know if it's my Galaxy S3, but my gps NEVER works. On the iPhone 4S and Droid X the gps is perfectly fine.

At Scripps Ranch Blvd- Wife calling home from poway- Phone rings, but dead air space, no audio. 3 weeks ago, calling from San Diego Airport, curb side Terminal 1, could not make call to waiting limo service to come and pick us up, Will be switching back to AT&T by months end.

I do not receive calls at home. Often text messages don't come in or go out. If not on WiFi then no data. Leaving Sprint as soon as contract is up. Horrible service.

I use Ting (which operates on the Sprint Network). The coverage here has been good - on par with AT&T which I switched over from. Coverage was one of my concerns but was worth it to save $$$ on my cell phone (I now pay $20-$30 month for good service). Here is a link to a referral code for $25 off your first month of Ting if you are interested: type in z9r6ks1t0i4 before ting DOT com

Verizon service horrible at this location. Some other posts on this board confirm this neighborhood is a Verizon "dead zone". I work from home a lot, and calls from clients CONSTANTLY drop. After several angry calls to Verizon tech support, they finally bought me a network extender, which works about 75% of the time-- but even if the call goes through the extender, it still drops after about 2 minutes. BEYOND frustrating. I would change services in a heartbeat, but looking at the cellphone tower map, it doesn't appear ATT, Sprint or T-Mobil have any towers that serve us either. AAAARRRRGH! Verizon usually works fine for me everywhere else, except not at my house where I need it the most!
