Cricket

Cricket using AT&T network is exceptionally poor in the 92126 zip code. Especially indoors, where it's almost non functional at best. And they all say San Diego Ca. has some of the best cell coverage in the country. What a joke!

Dropped calls, poor, sometimes no reception, poor service... regret being with Sprint, but don't regret leaving Verizon. Their customer service was even worse!

Verizon

Rancho Santa Fe. I've had Verizon since 1998 and it was the only carrier that was consistently good through out RSF and still is in 2018. I've no complaints about coverage. I am looking to move to T-Mobile because Verizon is $170 / month for two phones (one is a flip--look it up you youngsters) and an iPhone 7 and iPad. Unlimited text, calls and data. T-Mobile is $80 for the same. I just need to know if T-Mobile's coverage is as good as Verizon's in RSF.

Sprint

Just WOW! I was considering sprint, but decided to read some reviews in advance of making any changes. After reading these, and doing some other research, they happened to call me to try to make the sale. I asked if the call would be recorded and they said yes. I then asked how the reception was in my area / were the negative reviews about dropped calls and slow data accurate - THEY HUNG UP ON ME HALF WAY THROUGH THE QUESTION! I guess that answers that : / If you're considering sprint, cover your bases - call them first, ask about the coverage, take note of who you talked to and when. If you receive your phones and find that your coverage is not satisfactory, you will be able to use the fact that they made false claims to get a full refund.

When I moved my whole family account from Verizon to Sprint I was assured I had great coverage. Lies! Not only does the coverage suck at my home but also at my place of work in LaJolla 92037. In addition I was given the whole hard sell that I would insure NO coasts from Verizon,as Sprint would buyout any remaining balance on my Verizon account. LIES,LIES,LIES! I have just been through the vortex of cell phone service he’ll. Sprint doesn’t respond to any issue and Verizon says their hands are tied because it is Sprint who needs to reimburse me for any outstanding Verizon money owed. What a scam Sprint has pulled on me. In pure dollars I must pay a $569.00 balance with Verizon or I will be reported as a collection and it will go on my credit report. As far as Sprint is on concerned they just blow me off and don’t fix anything or even reimburse me the $569.00 that I am on the hook for with Verizon. My warning to anyone planning on making this type of switch is 1. Stay with Verizon 2. If you are making a change with one of these sweetheart deals get the money upfront from new carriers. 3. Really do research on the coverage maps and make sure you don’t fall into that space that you salesmen will tell you is not really a problem. I I had the money to take out a billboard letting the unsuspecting public know what manipulating liars Sprint cellular is it would be money well spent. P.S. The “Can you hear me now “ guy is also a money grubbing idiot!
