T-Mobile
4 blocks away I get 5 bars of coverage. At my home all I get is static. No coverage. T-Mobile blows in my area.

Nextel provides adequate service and if you have coverage can be reliable. They've been "planning" coverage to the Scripps Ranch area for over 5 years and they've made no progress. This is a business line, and I've relocated my "office" but at least they don't charge to forward calls. Aside from the holes in coverage, if I have a signal reception is good and I rarely drop calls. I travel around the country and always have coverage in (business) urban areas.

I get almost no reception in my house. I get many dropped calls no matter where I am. I am switching to Verizon. I have had Cingular for 4 years, and since the merge with AT&T, I am unhappy with my service. Why pay for something when you have 3 dropped calls in one conversation. I just switched from Nokia to Motorolla. That my have something to do with it.

If I do get any reception, it is 1 (one) bar. Verizon says thay can't do anything about it. Calls get dropped while I sit in my office

Get more dropped calls with Sprint than anyone I know. Normal Heights, Kensington, Mission Hills, by the airport, just about anywhere in Metro San Diego this reception is horrible. Had phone checked out and supposedly nothing wrong with it. Contract up with Sprint but trying to figure who has best reception before I sign again. Any suggestions?

It is like a rollercoster ride when you are driving in this area. Reception goes up and down and it never ends when you are in that part of town. The phone I have now gets way better reception than my other phones (Moto V600, SE Z600, SE 500A). But if you are shopping for service, getting Cingular is still better than getting T-Mobile because for them, you get nothing in the area. I had T-Mobile for a year, made numerous calls to the CS to let them know there is a problem with the coverage zone, but they did not made the improvement at all. So after a year, I finally switched back to Cingular / ATT. My suggestion fro driving thru the area is to use a headset, I have found out that because the phone gets to stay at a stationary place when you are using your headset, it is less likely for you to loose the signal, at least in my case, it work. Well, good luck on the rollercoster!

T-mobile is going down fast. Have had them for 2 yrs. and still no reception at my house. Have bought several phones and all they can tell me is that I am in a fair coverage zone. Every other provider can get reception at my house. Why can't they. I can see the 56 from my backyard and they say they have towers all over that area. So why no reception? E315 Samsung is crap!!

This stretch of road is an absolute dead spot for every single provider in the area. I have at many times actually maintained a phone call through this area, but, in general... at least 90% of the time, the call will drop going through this area.
