I have been a customer for same company since 90's way before AT&T acquired Cingular and Cingular acquired PacBell. During last 20 years, I lived at 4 difference addresses in South Orange County, but this place with AT&T is the worst. People can't call me or contact me when they needed. Every single calls are dropped. They can't hear me or I can't hear them. I'm seriously thinking about switching a carrier, but reading this site, other carriers seem to have same problem. I guess we are in dead zone... .What happened to those the news of new tower being build at Marguerite Pkwy. and Felipe????(Wasn't that the area?)Was this review helpful to you?
Tried T-Mobile but the signal was just not strong enough for us at the house. Was this review helpful to you?
Cell Phone calls OK. GPS Navigation won't work On a brand new Kyocera Torque phoneWas this review helpful to you?
Phone reception is the absolute worst. Verizon does not have their own towers in this area. They lost their contract with At&T and t mobile, whose cell towers provided service to Verizon users in this area. Does any one have two tin cans and some string. This would be more effective! Was this review helpful to you?
Verison service is spoty in area and in my residence. Customer service reprogram my 3S and there was no difference. They have me as a customer over 20 years and offered to waive my contract termination fee if dissatisfied and I switch to another carrier. After reading the various reviews I will not pay $275 TO HAVE A BOOSTER INSTALLED BY VERISON AND INSTEAD WILL USE HARD LINE IF IMPORTANT CALL IS TO BE MADE WHERE SIGNAL STRENTH DROPS BELOW 3 BARS.Was this review helpful to you?
You would think with as many as 40,000 people visiting Laguna Beach on a Saturday or Sunday during the summer and the annual number of tourists estimated at about 3 million that AT&T would get there services working correctly. Instead the coverage stops working during the summer, theres a million dead spots, failed calls. ect. Its awful! I thought Sprint was bad but in Laguna I was much better off. Plus no LTE even though every surrounding city has it. Irvine, Newport Beach, Aliso Viejo...Was this review helpful to you?
I occasionally get enough reception to text, but most of the time my cell phone is just a tiny computer instead of an actual phone. I can't use it to make or receive calls. It's ridiculous. Was this review helpful to you?
I entered "poor" only because sometimes I can send a text message or make a call, if I go outside. Inside it's hopeless. They keep telling us the network is being upgraded, but that is not true. Each update they texted me about changed nothing. My contract is up in a few weeks and they told me again that they will be upgrading. It's not true. I'm dumping their obscenely poor service. Check the carriers service maps before you sign-up. In this neighborhood only one, Verizon, even claims full coverage. The others probably lie or exaggerate. Of my neighbors on Sprint and T-Mobile and Verizon, only the Verizon customers do not complain of needing to go outside to make a call. Once last year ATT left me without 911 service! 911! That's illegal. Was this review helpful to you?
I have had Sprint Service since 1999 and I switched to AT&T which at that time was Cingular and the only good thing about Cingular was they offered roll over minutes. Bad thing was I could never stay on the phone without getting dropped calls or no service at all inside a building. I went back to Sprint after my contract was up and was so happy with my service. My husband has AT&T through his work and we went to Philadelphia and on the 10th floor in our hotel room, again I had excellent service and my husband who has AT&T could not get service at all. He made a call to his boss and he could hear his boss but his boss could not hear him. I was happy I brought my Sprint cell phone so we could communicate with his boss during our trip. Was this review helpful to you?
Have lived here 1 year and have horrible service ever since. Even have the MicroCell Tower that I got free from AT&T because I complained so much. The tower doesn't help. The past 2 weeks it is to the point that every call is broken, we catch every other word or part of a word. Even when standing 2 feet from the MicroCell. Called AT&T again, they opened a case, still haven't heard anything back. Asked about cancelling because our neighbors have Verizon and have no problems, AT&T said would still have to pay contract cancellation charge. May have to just break down and do it because we don't have a home phone. Was this review helpful to you?
