Until I got the iPhone in Feb I had great reception with my Razr. Initial part of call good but usually degrades and then drops. About a 30% drop rate. This not only happens at this location but many others too. Now onmy 4th phone. Seem that the latest trouble reports show many more iPhone users complaining. They call this a "rugged" terrain but it's not and there are 2 towers on either side. I stopped within 40 feet of one of them and only had 2 bars. Walked across the street and it dropped to 2. WTF.Was this review helpful to you?
maybe a.5, sold a Blackberry told internet was $8.99 unlimited a month, went out of town next day for 5 weeks and came home and advised I had no internet. Told oh you need the special blackberry internet thats $30 a month. Im like no way thats not what I was told or sold. They wouldnt give me a different phone or let me out of my plan. My phone did not work at all in my home and dropped calls like crazy in the area. I told them all this and to at least cancel my internet since it did not work. I was a long long time customer and was grandfathered in 65 a month including taxes for 2 lines unlimited everything, early nights free weekends and cell to cell... ..When my contract was up I wanted out. I found out they had been the entire time charging me for internet. 8.99 times 24 is 216 dollars. I never looked at my bill I never could go over it was unlimited and I forgot it should have been 8.99 a month lower so its my fault even though they had record of my call and me canceling internet. All they did was give me 3 months refund. I ran from SPRINT to verrizon now my phone works in my house and in the 3 years I have had them never have I dropped a call, ever. Not in Mexico on a trip, not anywhere in so cal,Arizona,Utah,Washington State, even Canada no problem. My bill is double but my service is 5 times better, screw sprint. Was this review helpful to you?
When will Verizon get a cell phone tower that will allow us to use our cell phone in this area? Was this review helpful to you?
Sometimes when you are up against a hill or high condos like in the Pier Bowl area, reception can be spotty. I got my I Phone activated at the AT&T store at North El Camino Real / Palizada. They are very helpful-Ken and Troy. 10 stars each. For a low tech guy like me they were very instructive and took time to explain. There can be a wait at times, but it is worth the wait. Was this review helpful to you?
Coverage overall is great, just iffy in my apartment. Nothing wifi calling option on my android can't fix!Was this review helpful to you?
I hardly get any reception at my apartment. I wish to change to another service provider but donno which one. ATT has simply no reception and people don't even bother to call me because of ATT!Was this review helpful to you?
Switched to Verizon ~9-10 years ago. Used to be solid 5 bars, has been slowly degrading, which I presume is due to utilization caused by expanding population in this community. Still, reception is 3-4 bars except during certain parts of the day. Otherwise, decent voice quality, decent data rate. Was this review helpful to you?
Inside house extremely poor. Have to go outside to corner about 200 feet for any reception. Purchased a Verizon Wireless Network Extender, Model SCS-28UC4. Minor improvement, but not enough to talk on the phone. Phone rings, but when answered voices are intermittent and the call is dropped. Sends and receives text messages (most of the time). Thinking of changing services, but haven't found one that would be any better. Good service most of the time once I leave the house. Was this review helpful to you?
I am getting rid of my iPhone because I can't take AT&T anymore! Drops calls 3 and 4 times during a single conversation. Totally unpredictable and frustrating. Wish I had seen this website before--clearly AT&T is a BAD choice for my area. What were ya thinking, Apple?!Was this review helpful to you?
T-Mobile coverage here is abysmal, and almost non-existent in our house. On the T-Mobile coverage map, our house is in an area between Moderate and Partner (one step from roaming). T-Mobile should really work on their cell tower coverage or enable VOIP on all their phones as a band-aid.Was this review helpful to you?
