AT&T Wireless (GSM)
Outside house, generally one bar... on street improves to 2-3. Can make calls. Inside house - forget it. Even if I manage to find a 1 bar location, I must use my bluetooth headset as moving the phone any little bit (like putting it to your ear) is guaranteed to lose the signal! Also noticed in general area (SF Bay Area between Mountain View and San Francisco), GSM reception is horrible indoors anywhere. Switching to Cingular network is sometimes better but not noticeably better.

Reception is very poor, unless I walk a block or so west on Parnassus.

Reception is either poor or non existent in my home, or in the street (works fine when in the middle of the street though), time to upgrade the towers to GSM 850 in the city!

It's ok. I had the same reception with the Nokia 3395.

Call drops once you hit the Westborough exit on 280N, service does not resume until after the Serramonte exit

Reception works at one end of the apartment, but not the other. I live at Corona Heights and face out over Eureka Valley, Twin Peaks and Sutro Tower.

Daly City is filled with dead zones, especially with GSM phones. I switched to Verizon with hopes to actually eliminate my chances of running into dead zones, and CDMA coverage in the U.S. is far superior than GSM for now. But Daly City seems to be a cell phone dead zone overall.

I get 4 bars out of 5 when I am out of my house. 2 when I am in my bedroom and 3 when I am in my living room.

Lots of restaurants in this area, and you can't get any incoming calls when inside, as the outside's signal is very weak already... might be the phone though...

The combination of a weak T616 antenna and a weak Cingular signal results in poor receiption in my house. I am currently on the marketfor phone with a stronger antenna.
