AT&T

Even with full bars, always have dropped calls. Can have dropped calls 4 times within a 5 minute talk!

Cannot use my cell phone in my own home. On rare occasions (the middle of the night) you can receive a call. AT&T offered no help or solutions. Onward to Verizon!

Inside Hilldale mall reception is OK but go into most stores and there often is a complete loss of signal. Not good.

Generally usable for voice and data in the flat part of Montara, especially near Main St. Fades in the hills and once north of Montara on Hwy. 1.

Terrible inside, have to go out in the yard, but it's windy out there which interferes with reception in a different way.

Phone shifts between 3G and bars while using. a waste of money to own this - can*t use indoors.

Varies from no reception to one bar (-109db), rarely two (-101db) - this is the halfway point between two towers, oscillates constantly, sometimes completely useless.

Reception is horrible (1 bar at most) inside our condo but outside we'll get 4-5 bars.

AT&T is worthless since most calls are dropped no matter where you are. Phone often does not ring when call coming in. Bars have no relation to power of signal. I can see a few bars and get nothing. I regret having to give up my iPhone in order to have a cell phone that can actually handle phone calls.
