signal all but vanished near the end of 2016. too many dropped calls to count. Totally dependent on wifi. My neighbors have similar issues regardless of phone type. Verizon checked service in the area and acknowledges service on the area is poor but wont commit to fixing it. My friend gets a better signal on his Chinese burner phone. I have plenty of bars but my calls are constantly dropped. People call me and it doesn't go through. I call out and the recipient complains about the connection. It's gotten intolerable and it is not just in the financial district. It happen anywhere.Was this review helpful to you?
I work from home and used to get great coverage with AT&T. However, in the past six months my coverage has become awful. One bar if I am lucky and dropped calls all of the time. It is hard to be professional when your clients can't hear you. Grrrrr... .Was this review helpful to you?

Signal strength at 2 bars on a good day if I stand outside and do not turn or move. Inside 1 bar if I stand at a window in the front or the rear of the building. 2 1 / 2 blocks away on Geary Blvd.I get 5 bars.Was this review helpful to you?
We spent a week in SF in January, 2017. The vast majority of time, we were getting 4 or 5 bars for LTE reception. The only exceptions were in Lands End Park and in some small pockets.Was this review helpful to you?
In two years, I had maybe 3 dropped calls. LTE connection I suppose sometimes slows, but it's almost never noticeable. This is true on the street, at 18th and Castro, and deep inside the apt building. I'm afraid to switch to any other carrier.Was this review helpful to you?
As of December 2016. Sprint coverage within San Francisco and the Peninsula area has becoming measurably worse than the prior year. And even then it was not great, but now is terrible. The number of time I receive no data errors and not connected has rusen to dozens per day. The low rate is no worth the frustration. Often just goes to voicemail. Either cannot make outgoing calls or make them without them being garbled. Often phone cuts off during a call. I get reception at street level but not on the hill where my house sits.Was this review helpful to you?
