Verizon

Verizon has very good coverage in the valley areas along HWY 1 up to Devils Slide, much better than ATT

Reception is very poor in this area, unfortunately, my friends and I get 1 bar if we are lucky.

one or two bars max, and calls are being dropped after a minute of talk time

The only way that I was able to get reception out of my fifth level room was by sticking my hand out of the window. The lower down I went? No chance then. Inside buildings, no chance. Outside, probably 70% chance of great service. But to have to go outside to make a call or text is not whats up.

I don't know what is going on with Sprint, I'm their customer for 5+ years and reception always worked fine in my home! The last two days, the Sprint reception completely went dead... .tried calling Sprint a few times, they are saying they see everything is working fine on their end and think it's my phone's problem! Are you kidding me, if my phone has a problem how come when I go down further down towards 101S (airport blvd) the phone work fine! Ridiculous! Looks like it's time to change carrier.

In our home, I'm lucky if I get 2 bars. On rare occasions usually late at night, I might get three for a few seconds.

Marginal to no signal in the area. AT&T charging for Microcell to boost signal they should provide with service paid.

Honestly, my T-Mobile is working so well at my mother-in-law home. So please with it and have 3g full bars, download speed is as fast as wifi. But no good in San Mateo my home. Poor~

Not good! I am the T-Mobile customers for more than 4 years and the reception is not getting improve. I occasionally have no bar and the max is 2 bar for EDGE. Hardly to have 3g, if I do, the 3g will gone in minutes. Thinking to switch to AT&T for better network.
