Great reception pretty much all of the time, but nothing in life is perfect. There is the occasional drop in my bars, but never by much. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the service in my area.

Sprint has nearly no service in Half Moon Bay, El Granada, Moss Beach or the rest of the San Mateo Coast. Their Customer "Service" will gladly tell you they do have service in this area. However, I had dozens of dropped calls in two weeks, no data service, and no voicemail until I left and went to 280 or San Francisco. If you challenge Sprint, they'll say there is something wrong with your phone and won't allow for contract termination without a penalty. Highly disreputable telecom provider.

Too much bad reception / dropped calls. Battery life short due to phone switching in and out of service. Can't wait for my contract to end. Service / phone works fine in other parts of the country.

Only works marginally by the window. I want to change phone and service, but having read the reviews for Cingular and Verizon (poor service and / or poor tech support and customer service) I may stay put until things improve...

No reception beyond a few feet from windows. Even within those few feet, most of the time the phone will ring but you can't carry on a conversation.

I get "no service" or no bars in or around my home with my new digital Motorola phone. I cannot send or receive calls. But my wife's ancient Kyocera candy bar phone will actually ring in our kitchen! Verizon tells me it's because her old phone sends out a more powerful signal than the new digital phones. Go figure. Verizon also tells me that they are *planning* to improve coverage with a new cell site in the area, but won't say when (I'll believe it when it happens).

Verzizon reception on Sand Hill Rd is awful. 50% of calls are dropped or no reception at all. Going to try T-Mo and Cingular...

once you enter the target yea you have all 5 bars but as you get more into the store you go down to 3 den towards the back of the store you get 0- 1 bar! I have to go towards the middle of the store to make a call so it can sound clear otherwise you cant hear the person you talking to in the bak of the store and sometimes the call drops throught out the mall you get full bars some areas maybe you loose 1bar and the macys in bayfair is the same problem but not as bad you get 1bar most of the times in the inside of the store you have to go to the 2nd and 3rd floor to get better reception to get atleast 3-4 bars some parts you get 5bars the best store to go when you get better reception is kohls maybe ull loose 1bar in some parts of the store but the reception is great there. Through out the mall its moslty 5bars theres a few areas you get 4 but if your in the smaller stores you get 4-5 bars

Absolutely no reception in or around the house. Minimal on Ocean Ave also. Just moved here, and depend on cell phone for work. Might have to switch services.
