Depending on time of day and weather, reception can vary from none at all to two bars. Baseline is zero. East of power lines that bisect the mountain, baseline is two bars (can generally make and hold calls). Was this review helpful to you?
AT&T Wireless (GSM)
TDMA coverage by ATT was better for me in this area. I had good signal anywhere in my condo. GSM phones drop signal in one bedroom of my condo. I have many more drop spots on GSM then TDMA. I have been on GSM for over a year and I keep seeing the ATT ads touting their signal strength. I hope that it is better here soon other wise I will scream when asked "How many bars do you have" in which I will reply, the same amount as the finger I am holding up right now.Was this review helpful to you?
Nextel service sucks everywhere. From SF-SJ along Hwy 280, reception really sucks. Two-way sucks just as much. Was this review helpful to you?
Poor reception on Dumbarton bridge and Menlo park area near the bridge. Get more dropped calls than good calls. Was this review helpful to you?
There's no reception on the 100 block of Amherst St (between Felton St and Silliman St), even standing out on the street. Was this review helpful to you?

Outside house, generally one bar... on street improves to 2-3. Can make calls. Inside house - forget it. Even if I manage to find a 1 bar location, I must use my bluetooth headset as moving the phone any little bit (like putting it to your ear) is guaranteed to lose the signal! Also noticed in general area (SF Bay Area between Mountain View and San Francisco), GSM reception is horrible indoors anywhere. Switching to Cingular network is sometimes better but not noticeably better. Was this review helpful to you?
It's ok. I had the same reception with the Nokia 3395.Was this review helpful to you?

Call drops once you hit the Westborough exit on 280N, service does not resume until after the Serramonte exitWas this review helpful to you?
Daly City is filled with dead zones, especially with GSM phones. I switched to Verizon with hopes to actually eliminate my chances of running into dead zones, and CDMA coverage in the U.S. is far superior than GSM for now. But Daly City seems to be a cell phone dead zone overall. Was this review helpful to you?
Excelent reception in San Lorenzo / San Leandro / Hayward area. You can be anywhere and the reception is perfect. The only problem is sometimes, when you want to access your WAP, you have to log in 3 times. Was this review helpful to you?
