I cannot stress enough just how poor of reception I have in my area from Sprint. 4g? Forgetaboutit. 3G ? Only if I stand on tiptoe and point my phone at 45.864* north by northwest. Seriously, it is quite bad. It will switch to roaming constantly, but of course Sprint won't tell me what company it is roaming with. In fact, they let me know they would drop ME if my phone roams too much. They have no plans to upgrade towers here. My Airwave ( which I refused to pay for) they gave me does not function 90% of the time. After over 15 years with them, it's time to switch. I believe it's Verizon's towers they piggyback on, so I'm going there

Reception is awful here. I barely can make calls and if they get through the call drops within seconds. I can't even get 3g.

I have been dropping calls for the past 2 months now and called customer service and they keep saying that its the phone and found out that they have a tower problem and keep saying that they working on it,but they pretty fast to charge you when it comes to paying your bill.i thing I'm gonna switch providers if had NEXTEL / spring for over 15 years and never had a problem till now and they ain't fixing it.

No data service unless you want to wait a couple of minutes for every page to load up. Its a joke to have unlimited data that you cant use

Inside its terrible I have to go outside to talk and even then it's bad. It is not reliable. A few months ago it was better I think I'm going to switch to Verizon my mom has that and it works better here

Voice calls on the coastside reliably work, and 4G network speeds, both upload and download, are reliably faster than my Comcast cable modem (!): comcast is 18 down / 7 up, Verizon is 26 down / 9 up (in mbps).

Very poor reception that cuts out completely sometimes. Several peoe have reported to Sprint over several months but no improvement on this campus of over 11,000 people. College staff are advising new students to switch carriers before coming here.

Verizon gives me four bars at home, and the connection is terrible. Calls are often filled with static, and will always drop in ten minutes or less. People will call me, and the phone won't ring. After repeatedly being made to do the re-programming dance by first line customer service, I finally convinced them to connect me to tier two. Tier two didn't even bother to ask what was wrong, they just told me that I had a "known issue" and that nothing would be done. The problems I have are consistent with failing equipment on the tower, not a bad connection (remember: 4 bars). Verizon has clearly decided that it won't be spending money to maintain it's San Mateo towers.

Terrible in San Mateo from hotel on Winward as far as Caltrain station. Isn't this a major metropolitan area? Shouldn't Verizon have coverage here? Terrible.
