Switched from Nextel i836 (very good reception) to Sprint Blackberry Curve. So bad I can't use it and am looking for a solution.

We are at 600 feet up looking at the whole bay from Redwood City to San Jose but have VERY POOR coverage. 1-2 Bars with most incoming call fail.. Need a tower that will cover Crestview to Alameda, Brittan above Alameda... I am going to swith to Verison and see if they are any better..

I'm staying with some friends for the summer and just about every call gets dropped while the signal goes from 3 bars E to 1 bar G and then 0 bars of any signal. I've found the same signal issues coming anytime I drove down Junipero Serra blvd or Foothill xprssway and in Los Altos while visiting friends there. On campus it's fine, but anytime I drive back towards the house, the signal fades fast.

I frequently walk / run the area around the VA Hospital while streaming music to my iPhone. When ever I look at the phone, it shows full bars and the streaming music never fails.

Drops calls all over town. AT&T is terrible in Palo Alto. No reception at all inside my home. Very limited reception in the area around my home. AT&T map shows 3G service area.

I get great reception even with one or two bars, but when sending pics on one or two bars it will take a while or need to resend. no dropped calls.

Poor reception and often no reception at all. When a call is actually recieved it will often cut out in midsentence.

Drops calls all the time. Sometimes no reception at all. Sprint worked great thru out Palo Alto. AT&T is terrible in Palo Alto.
