Excelent reception in San Lorenzo / San Leandro / Hayward area. You can be anywhere and the reception is perfect. The only problem is sometimes, when you want to access your WAP, you have to log in 3 times.

In East Palo Alto, there is VERY poor service, especially west/south of the police station, approaching the wreck yard and baylands and those autobody shops.

In Palo Alto, except for certain bad spots or indoors, I rarely lose a call while driving around. Not so great at home, but enough for service.

More times than not, will lose reception when going over bridge. Same for AT&T.

Reception on T-Mobile is spotty in general, but it hardly works up here on the hill. AT&T (TDMA), Verizon and Cingular GSM work fine up here, and even Sprint had better reception than this. I have to go outside and stand in the backyard in order to make calls. I'm never getting another T-Mobile phone, that's for sure.

On a rare day, often early in the mornings, I can get a call through if I stand outside on the hood of my car. My wife's Nokia does just slightly better.
