Extremely patchy reception. Often no data and phone connection. The only reliable connection is on the fourth floor of my building.

AT&T

1 Out of 5 (1 star) | Loma Verde | Ross, Palo Alto, CA 94303 |

Indoors others can only her every other word I say. The bill changes month by month when they mysteriously add new items. Customer service is worse and worse every time you call.

AT&T

1 Out of 5 (1 star) | San Bruno Park | Glen Ave. and Santa Lucia Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066 |

For the last six months our service is awful. In our home we now only get 1 or 2 bars. Not sure what changed, but I would NEVER recommend AT&T for cell phone!

Verizon

This area has no strong cell coverage. One of the companies could remedy this and gain a whole neighborhood of users.

Max 1 bar in the house. Calls dropped frequently. This is new, reception used to be good.

Verizon

1 Out of 5 (1 star) | Atherton | Ringwood, Atherton, CA 94027 |

Here we are in the middle of Silicon Valley and we cannot get decent cellular reception. Verizon, which I brought with me from New York, is almost nonexistent in Atherton and beyond. Atherton refuses to allow cell towers to be built, but Verizon also fails to work well in the Stanford area, Mountain View and beyond. What the heck is going on? Someone needs to do something about this! (Nevermind the stories about Steve Jobs standing outside his house trying to get cell reception... )

Verizon

Very poor call quality and dropped calls. A lot of times when I get connected on a call, the people on other side can't hear me, but I can hear them. Verizon sucks. I just switched over from ATT of 15yrs and this never happened.

Cell reception seems to be getting worse. Can't even make calls from inside the house at times.
