Verizon coverage in my building is spotty. Sometimes 1 bar, sometimes 2. Sometimes only "Searching for Service." Phone drops calls about one (or more) per day while I am not even moving about. And person on other end usually complains of choppy reception. If I get out of the little valley area and walk a few blocks away, the cell reception improves. But building I am in gets pretty miserable reception. Was this review helpful to you?
As of last Saturday, Oct 20th, 2012, Metro PCS had no reception (zero bars) in one of the most affluent neighborhoods in San Francisco - Nob Hill, home of the Fairmont Hotel. No voice. No data. To verify if the problem was just with my phone, I spoke to my Taxi driver, who also had Metro PCS service. He said that this was a known problem for the area. Today, Oct 22th, 2012, I found no reception - zero bars at the University of San Francisco (USF) Campus on Turk by Cole streets. A low bar count is disappointing but zero bars - no service at all - is extremely frustrating. I visited a company owned Metro Store today and received no help nor any explanation about this problem. I am considering switching if this continues. Was this review helpful to you?
Calling is next to impossible; texting takes about 5 mins as long as the text is not long and has no attachments. Serious dead zone. Was this review helpful to you?

If you GOLF, get Verizon. I don't like people talking on cell phones on the golf course, but I do like using GPS distances on my phone (can't do it without coverage) and getting texts / msgs in case of emergency, etc. AT&T has no coverage or very, very poor coverage (and Verizon works) at Tilden Park GC (Berkeley), Chabot GC (Oakland), Indian Valley GC (Novato), San Geronimo GC (San Geronimo), Willow Park GC (Castro Valley) and I am sure there are many more. Was this review helpful to you?

I have horrible reception at home. I have a 1 in 4 chance of connecting everytime I initiate a call. I drop calls very frequently and am afraid of being placed on hold. I was waiting for customer assistance from a tech company today and I constantly worried that the call would drop after a 10 minute wait. When I do have a connection the person on the other line is often frustrated because we have to call each other back constantly or because there is so much distortion we are unable to understand each other. A while ago I tried to setup a fem to cell but it too was very spotty. Was this review helpful to you?
Map of towers is not consistent with the coverage map on T-mobiles website. I am changing my provider because reception has gotten worse over time. Was this review helpful to you?
Awful service. Typically calls drop and incoming never make it through. Have complained multiple times with no satisfaction. They want to sell me a $200 device to boost signal at my house but I won't pay more to get a signal they should already prove for my $150 per month cost. My contract is up in December and I'd like to changeWas this review helpful to you?
i've lived in this neighbhood less than a month and twice now, my cell phone has had no service, at all, for several hours. it's unbelievably frustrating and actually dangerous to not be able to get any signal at all to make an outbound call. The worst cell reception is no reception. this is the second time in a week it's occurred, and it seems to be a long standing issue. Was this review helpful to you?
