T-Mobile

This is rally bad, I moved to Post St. (right smack in downtown San Francisco) two days ago and upgraded my Blackberry Pearl Flip phone to Samsung Galaxy 4G yestready evening. The reason I updgraded my phone: I had no signal what so ever at my new home! And I moved only 12 blocks away from my old home. My new home is right smack in downtown. So I thought by upgrading my phone to 4G this problem would be solved but NO! I don't get any signals at my new home, I don't get phone signal, 4G signal, internet signal, WIFI signal, etc, blank dead NOTHING! When I went to TMobile store to upgrade my phone I asked the Customer Service girl to make sure that I will be getting a good phone with a great signal reception and off course she said "This is the strongest signal phone at our store and on our map it shows that your new home should be getting excellent signals" Well you know what???? Not true... So now I am puzzled, I don't want to swicth to AT&T and when I called they said they don't know what TMobile's future is with this AT7T merger thing. Totally SUCKS!

I just got this phone and cannot get a signal anywhere in my apartment. Worthless. I switched from Verizon, which had great reception in the apartment. My gf's AT&T iphone works good here, too. Guess I'm gonna have to cancel and switch back. What a hassle.

Really bad service. Comes and goes. Horrible data. I'm going to have to look for another carrier.

I've turned 3G off and always on 2G (edge network). Go to network settings and turn it off. On 3G, cannot call out, send SMS, surf AND cannot receive texts or calls.

Next to the big ATT building. I can't make calls and calls or text never make it to me. Switching as fast as I can.

We've been at this location for more than 3 years and never had a problem with signal strength and call quality until recently. Our problem (on both phones / lines) is that the first call doesn't always have audio when dialing and connecting. The call would go through but you can't hear the other person; you can't hear the dialing tone either. It's not a dropped call but a connected call without sound. So we'd have to hang up and redial and always, the second time it's fine. We've been having this issue for more than 2 months now and am considering leaving TMobile once our contract expires.

Reception per se is not a problem - always 5 or 4 bars. But calls are dropped all the time, SMS do not go through, 3G is dead slow or nonexistant, etc. etc. The cell phone becomes practically useless, I am tempted to start looking for old good payphones...

I've always been a fan of Verizon, but lately their service has been awful. My wife always wanted an iPhone but I kept telling her that AT&T service was worthless. Boy am I wrong in this case. We both get 1 bar in our apartment, and 3G is slow (300kbps if I'm lucky). Calls are always getting dropped, or not received. It's really frustrating. Our friends with iPhones on AT&T get great reception and really fast 3G service. Those dumb Verizon commercials are starting to irritate me.
