No reception at all in my home at the moment. At best, I can expect 1 bar and dropped calls.

This part of nob hill is nearly a dead zone for Sprint PCS, at least for my Treo 650 and my other Sprint phone. I'm not exactly sure why, but it is nearly impossible to get reception in this entire square block. Otherwise, I've had very poor reception overall with my Sprint phone in SF.

Very strange--on the 12th floor, I get full-scale or nearly full-scale reception, but there's a lot of interference, and sometimes there's no sound at all. No dropped calls, but it's very hard to use.

My signal bars are always flucuating in this area, but my call sounds fine and I have yet to have one dropped. I hate to say it, but I think Cingular has raised the bar.

T-mobile sucks real bad here. I have to get all the way to MLK and / or upto to Ashby and San Pablo for this to work. It's about one to two bars and the cell phone in the house is pretty useless. Called T-Mobile and they have us apparently listed as being in a "fair" coverage area. I think we're in pretty much "no" coverage area. I'm not sure why it's so bad though, considers there are a couple of towers a mile east and a mile west of here.

I live on the 8th floor, and a T Mobile tower is at most 75 feet from my condo, directly across on top of the MCI offices at 274 Brannan St. T Mobile sucks big time! I constantly get a "Network busy" or "Network failure" message when I am talking or try to dial. JD Powers must be able to have been paid off, or someone knew someone becuase T-Mopbile has the rudest and most unhelpful people ever in customer service. And I am ALWAYS nice when I call, they get rude and are totally ghetto people who work there. I once waited on hold for 35 minutes for them to get a supervisor to approve a credit for their voicemail system being down for "maintenence" on a Thursday evening from 5pm-midnight. I missed a clients call I was expecting for dinner reservations. I thought he blew me off until I got an email saying how disappointed he was that I didn't show up later that night. The message was unreachable due to "maintenence" on Tmobiles part. It cost me a $8,500 job. T-Mobile after 35 minutes offered a $5 credit! I waited 35 minutes for $5 I said and told them they could keep it since they obviously needed it more than I did. STAY AWAY FROM T-MOBILE, don't belive Katherine Zeta-Jones... what does she know she married her grandfather.

Phone jumps between no signal and 3 bars; drops calls.

I have AT&T / Cingular and none of them works at the front side of the house and are very poor on the other side. Frequently dropped calls. I get about 1 bar, and can rarely make calls. Phone only rings sometimes. It's hard to understand this situation, given the facts that Albany is a very residential area and mostly flat.

Intermittent problems - TMobile tower is northeast of concrete building - from 3 full bars(max) when it's on to lengthy periods of No T-Mobile Signal. NOTE: ALWAYS a good AT&T signal

for 2 years i've had decent reception throughout the house, better than AT&T at the time I signed up. now that the ahsby cell tower is down I cannot use this as a business phone anymore. I am working on getting out of my contract without paying the fee as they are the ones in breach of contract.
