For the past two months I've noticed a steady decline in service: switched sim cards, switched phone, created a trouble ticket which they closed, then I had problems just getting out simple text messages and today (11-1-13) I did a master reset of my phone to see if that would make any difference. At the store they said it impacts service for 3 to 6 block radius. Do you know how many thousands of people that impacts? We're talking the heart of San Francisco. They refused to speak to me on why this was happening, who it impacts or for how long it may last because they say it's proprietary information.Was this review helpful to you?
People call me and my phone does not ring; I try calling others and can't get thru. I might as well not have a phone at all. I upgraded my phone with Sprint, thinking maybe it was a hardware issue, but the new phone had just as much trouble. Will probably break my contract it is so terrible.Was this review helpful to you?
As of this morning suddenly I have no signal inside my apartment, I have to go out of the building to get a signal. For ten years I had no problem with the signal. Other persons with T-Mobile had this problem, but not those of us with metro pcs. Looks like they are switching metro PCS over to the T-Mobile network. Time to change service provider I guess. Mastick Senior Center, you can see the Cell tower on the corner of the parking lot. Roughly 25-30ft high, black with a transformer. If you can see this tower you will be getting anywhere from 14mbps to 30mbps. 4GLTE service. This upgrade was done roughly in June / July.Was this review helpful to you?
I range between zero and two bars. If I walk from the back of the house to the living room I often get a signal for a voice mail that was sent a half hour earlier. AT&T reception is just awful and I can't wait for the timing in my faimly plan to allow me to look for another provider. Now I'm wondering what a microcell entails (another commenter got one for free?).Was this review helpful to you?
Constant, predictable dropped calls and frustrating bouts of "hello? can you hear me? hello, are you there?" Like nothing else. Absolutely frustrating. Happens all over the neighborhood, inside the house, outside the house, doesn't matter. Friends and neighbors report the same. Bay Area alarm, which has cell signal strength testing equipment, couldn't install service at my location because the cell service was too weak. AT&T's coverage map depicts this neighborhood as "best" coverage. I consider this FRAUD.Was this review helpful to you?
Something has happened to Sprint - used to be Terrible Internet but decent phone calls. Now it's all bad. Every call is dropped on Park St. For a laugh- go to the Sprint store- all the demo phones are on wifi. There is no Internet available In their own store.Was this review helpful to you?
In the past two months service has plummeted and went into the Sprint store and they said just call for an airave that will boost signal strength. Did this and was on the phone for 41 minutes, 15 of it on hold. In the end they said I have to pay 150 add'l plus monthly service fees to get this. In the last year my reception has declined tremendously. It used to be only one room in my home that I could not use my iphone. Gradually it has gotten so bad that I need to stand at my street facing living room window to talk. Even if I shift my position slightly I am told I can no longer be heard !
