In the last year my reception has declined tremendously. It used to be only one room in my home that I could not use my iphone. Gradually it has gotten so bad that I need to stand at my street facing living room window to talk. Even if I shift my position slightly I am told I can no longer be heard ! What is going on???

The only time I have service is when I'm on my bed, upstairs, with my arm hanging out the window. It's ridiculous! I cannot call out or get calls / texts in. I have to leave my house in order to communicate. I'm totally frustrated.

I'm on my second, brand new Galaxy S4 and I get between 0.1 - and 1.5 mbps in downtown San Francisco, the supposed tech capitol of the world. Give me a break! I went to the retail store on Pine St.to run a speed test on a floor model so I could determine if it was my phone or if it was the signal and the employees told me that it wasn't worth my walk there as they have a repeater in the store because the 4G is so bad. That was all the information I needed. I'm bummed out I sent my orgiginal S4 back and wasted time setting up a new phone. I agree with the other poster's, this is unacceptable for the price. Too bad I am locked into a contract. Sometimes my "4G" is slower than old school dial up... sweet Big Red. Haven't I bent over enough for you? At very least your signal could be usable if your going to screw us in every other way (no more unlimited, $30 upgrade fee on top of phone cost, refurbished phones to replace factory faulty products, etc... )

Must sit outside to use internet, I have no idea what 4g is like, let alone 3g. Phone doesn't ring, delayed text messages, runaround from sprint, towers are out will be fixed soon. Lies. If an airplane goes over home phone drops call. They offered me a tower, but am I supposed to tote a tower around in order to have service? Impossible! Sprints the new metro :(

Wow so much to say. First if all my phone (iphone 5) states I have 5 bars and LTE service yet trying to pull up a webpages or my bank app times 90% of the time. On the off occasion that I can hit a webpage / app like speed test it reports a DL speed of ~90kB... Really Verizon 4G LTE is.7mb in spotty coverage?? That's smack dab downtown, in the most tech innovating city in the USA! How this is passable is unknown, especially for $100 / month. On top of that there are other areas of the city that get similar or no coverage like 9th and Irvine. As people below point out Verizon support answer is spend an additional $250 on some fake device that MIGHT help?? Sorry Verizon your falling off your rocker, how in the world is failing of service on your companies fault followed up by a sales gimmick???? I pay $100 / month for full service not partial bit sometimes... Unbelievable what greed has done to our country, why do I say that? Because you can read in the 20+ page contract that you sign that "service interruptions can be credited for the time you lost" so some quick math that's 14C an hour... . WOW THANKS! I CAN HAVE 14 CENTS CREDITED BUT LOST WHATEVER PURPOSE I HAD FOR SERVICE??? Awesome.

internet is the wost ! upload download 1.83 Mb / s 0.47 Mb / s 28 ms Palo Alto, CA < 50 mi 0.51 Mb / s 0.46 Mb / s 513 ms Berkeley < 50 mi when I'm paying $46.00 suppostely for the Elite service of upload speed 6mps / DL2mps and when I call they just said well the speeds are NOT guaranteed ! WHAT???? REALLY?? WANT MY MONEY BACK THANK YOU ! * Any one with sugestions on what else to do on these type of problems? PLEASE HELP ! :( from speed test.

I just bought my new Sprint LG cell last week... I am now a member of the 'dissatisfied customers' club! Poor to ZERO reception! No bars, / / / /, instead,... .! not even a HINT of a picture of bars! I'm lucky if I can get a call in or out! But it gets dropped anyway! After reading what others have to say about various Carriers, and Towers..as consumers, don't we have a voice? I feel RIPPED OFF! Is there no help???

... until AT&T in their inscrutable wisdom sent me a MicroCell, free, a few years ago. I mean, zero bars. We were out on the deck waving ourt phones in the air, pitiful seekers of even a shred of bar. So I used their little app, Mark The Spot - do people know about this - to report no coverage, all unbeknownst. We are located in a little dell, here, on Jaynes St. - and they knew it. With a MiCell on the floor beneath a window, it's all good! I understand some people pay for this thing, for which I am sorry to hear.

I have been using VIRGIN MOBILE for a year (which is not an option here, so I picked Sprint, which I understand uses the same network.) The reception in my house is horrible. Basically the phone does not work, and nearly all of my incoming calls just go straight to voicemail. Not worth the savings.
