Sprint

I just bought my new Sprint LG cell last week... I am now a member of the 'dissatisfied customers' club! Poor to ZERO reception! No bars, / / / /, instead,... .! not even a HINT of a picture of bars! I'm lucky if I can get a call in or out! But it gets dropped anyway! After reading what others have to say about various Carriers, and Towers..as consumers, don't we have a voice? I feel RIPPED OFF! Is there no help???

No data service unless you want to wait a couple of minutes for every page to load up. Its a joke to have unlimited data that you cant use

I would say the quality of my reception varies between below average to poor. I barely get reception in my kitchen and it's often hit or miss in my bedroom. It definitely helps to have Wi-Fi. Outside of where I live, there are parts of San Leandro where my reception is actually average but there are more parts with poor to no reception. Once I get to Dolittle, especially near the Marina, forget about 4g. Overall, having T-Mobile service since moving to San Leandro has been a pain in the butt.

With removal of antennas from the soon to be demolished Warren Hall at CSUEB, our AT&T signal ranges from no reception to average (0 - 3 bars). BUT the signal varies so much we cannot make / receive calls with o them being dropped or the voice quality being unusable. It took AT&T three weeks to respond to our initial complaints with a $100 bill credit and "a temporary tower will be installed with i 2-3 weeks". Called them again today and was told "sorry for the mis-information" about the temp tower. They offered to sell us a micro-cell and allow us to pay an additional $20 / month. We're switching to TMUS or VZ.

... until AT&T in their inscrutable wisdom sent me a MicroCell, free, a few years ago. I mean, zero bars. We were out on the deck waving ourt phones in the air, pitiful seekers of even a shred of bar. So I used their little app, Mark The Spot - do people know about this - to report no coverage, all unbeknownst. We are located in a little dell, here, on Jaynes St. - and they knew it. With a MiCell on the floor beneath a window, it's all good! I understand some people pay for this thing, for which I am sorry to hear.

I have been using VIRGIN MOBILE for a year (which is not an option here, so I picked Sprint, which I understand uses the same network.) The reception in my house is horrible. Basically the phone does not work, and nearly all of my incoming calls just go straight to voicemail. Not worth the savings.

Reception in home has never been good, and I have had about three or four different phones with Sprint over abt 10 years. over the last few months it has gone from poor to no reception. Dropped calls when I did have a little receception. in a nutshell... it's bad.

Every single call from anywhere in my apartment breaks up. Either I can't hear them or they can't hear me. Half of my calls are dropped altogether. Sometimes I go outside to use phone but that's not very safe and there's a lot of noise from traffic etc. Appears there are only two towers in all of Oakland and they aren't anywhere near downtown. Wish I knew this before I got stuck with AT&T.
