Stayed at father in laws place for vacation and had the worst reception ever! Dropped calls patchy service. I run spotify off my phone and haven't been able to listen to music consistently the entire trip. Terrible... AT&T needs more towers here. R

The ATT cell coverage is becoming worse and worse in my neighborhood. I have an iphone 3Gs, and I can barely pick up email -- many times I cannot pick it up at all in my neighborhood. It is outrageous that ATT charges as much as they do for practically no service in prime Bay Area neighborhoods. Even when I am at my office on Montgomery St.in SF, the service is very hit or miss for cell or email. What a ripoff? Where are the cell towers?

On the third floor Ill get 1 or 2 bars, though its chopping and conversations are difficult. One the 1st or 2nd floors, I get no signal at all. where my Verizon work phone has no issues at all.

No reception in house, usually have to go outside or talk near the window to get reception. ATT needs a cell tower in this location ASAP!

Verizon coverage in my building is spotty. Sometimes 1 bar, sometimes 2. Sometimes only "Searching for Service." Phone drops calls about one (or more) per day while I am not even moving about. And person on other end usually complains of choppy reception. If I get out of the little valley area and walk a few blocks away, the cell reception improves. But building I am in gets pretty miserable reception.

Calling is next to impossible; texting takes about 5 mins as long as the text is not long and has no attachments. Serious dead zone.

If you GOLF, get Verizon. I don't like people talking on cell phones on the golf course, but I do like using GPS distances on my phone (can't do it without coverage) and getting texts / msgs in case of emergency, etc. AT&T has no coverage or very, very poor coverage (and Verizon works) at Tilden Park GC (Berkeley), Chabot GC (Oakland), Indian Valley GC (Novato), San Geronimo GC (San Geronimo), Willow Park GC (Castro Valley) and I am sure there are many more.

I have horrible reception at home. I have a 1 in 4 chance of connecting everytime I initiate a call. I drop calls very frequently and am afraid of being placed on hold. I was waiting for customer assistance from a tech company today and I constantly worried that the call would drop after a 10 minute wait. When I do have a connection the person on the other line is often frustrated because we have to call each other back constantly or because there is so much distortion we are unable to understand each other. A while ago I tried to setup a fem to cell but it too was very spotty.

Map of towers is not consistent with the coverage map on T-mobiles website. I am changing my provider because reception has gotten worse over time.
