Crappiest cell phone coverage since I owned one of those Motorola brick phones around 15 yrs ago. My phone is pretty much DEAD indoors, and goes back and forth between 1-2 bars and no bars outside. What makes it unbearable is that the signal level is always fluctuating- so you can't even count on your service being bad. 4G is pretty much the same, except there is NO 4G service indoors, EVER. Sprint, you suck. This is a major metropolitan area. Figure it out or get out of the business.

I never get more than 2 bars at the place we are currently living at. It seems like a new tower is needed in order to solve this issue with AT&T's coverage of the east bay.

most calls drop or inaudible. Other AT#T phones have same problem, 4G smart phones better but below average. I'm in middle of city and one bar doesn't work.

I live right on the water, the last street before the Marina, and the Oakland Airport is basically my backyard. I don't know if it's because of all the airline traffic overhead or what, I can rarely call out unless I'm perfectly still - calls are constantly dropped. I have to roam around the house to find a spot where I have the most bars showing on my phone and even then they fluctuate between 0 and 2! Texting for me is the most frustrating, 9 out of 10 times they fail and get sent to my drafts. I also don't receive the majority of my texts until I'm well out of the area and in San Lorenzo. This is especially annoying when family members are trying to reach me. They can't understand why I'm not returning messages,and even worse, when I try to explain what's going on with my phone I don't think they believe me! :o(

I usually have 2 bars of signal strength at most. Living so near the Davis Bart station, I constantly get dropped calls, straight to voicemail no missed call, call fades away and hangs up, etc. when the bart trains passes by. Sometimes there's train after train, so I have to wait 10 mins until all the trains pass before redialing the number.
