It seems weird to be able to see across the Bay, including all of Eastern San Francisco, and still get little or no reception. I don't know how that's even possible! Reception in this area in very spotty, and calls are often dropped. Also, when I tried to use the phone in San Francisco, I couldn't complete a call -- yet people all around me were chatting away on their cells! Very frustrating. Was this review helpful to you?

Get a wireless hands free set and leave in the 3 foot radius that is getting good reception then, you can walk around your house. Was this review helpful to you?
I have Sprint PCS. Get very good signal in Albany, all over San Francisco, all along I-80, and even while up on the North Lake Tahoe ski slopes. I do, however, get only 1 bar at work in my office building in Hercules (although it's fine when I go outside or next to a window). I have friends that use Verizon and AT&T that I go traveling with frequently, and I always get the best signal among us. I'm always lending my phone to them to make quick calls. I've had two Sanyos (SCP-8100 and SCP-6200) for Sprint that always worked very well and got very good signal. I haven't had any other phones, so I can't really compare them. Was this review helpful to you?

Very poor reception inside my house and indoors in general. Was this review helpful to you?
Signal is quite low and below average in some industrial areas in Berkeley. Specially in several buildings there is no reception inside. Though works great in Newark, Union City with good reception. Was this review helpful to you?
I think this is a black hole. I've never heard of anyone getting reception here. I'm not even roaming or on an extended network. No service, period. Was this review helpful to you?
On one side of my house (towards Rheem) I get great reception, but if I go into my room (towards Zander) I get next to nothing. Was this review helpful to you?
Great reception here. Have had good service with Verizon, except some hotspots like Orinda or on campus at UC Santa Cruz. Was this review helpful to you?
For months now I have been enjoying great reception at my home. That was until today. Now its back to the same old thing. I can't use my phone at my house. This is very frustrating do to the fact that I am self employed and use my cell phone for my business. Is this just a one-time thing or did Cingular remove an antenna somewhere in my neighborhood? Was this review helpful to you?
Good reception outside of my house on deck. On the street calls are mostly lost, phone doesn't ring 90% of the time. I've tried Cingular, Verizon, and AT&T, none work very well. Was this review helpful to you?
