Verizon

I've had Verizon service for many years and I cannot even recall the last time a call got dropped. While I often lose service when I get to the 2nd or 3rd level down in the parking garage, the 1st level down is consistently solid. I get coverage in elevators too. I travel all around the Bay Area (especially the peninsula and never drop calls and very rarely even notice any drop in signal strength. Same for when I travel nationwide. I am being forced to switch to Sprint due to job change and am not happy about it!

Never have above 1 bar service, calls don't come in or are dropped frequently. Internet so slow to open I give up after 5 minutes of scrolling! Terrible signal strength!

Cannot make calls out will receive weak incoming calls that fade in and out then finally drop off completely.

Can't send texts or pix at all. Always get a message failed notice. Calls are fair but usually dropped at least once or twice.

Cellular reception is bad, phone calls don't necessarily go through, it's a coin flip whether your outgoing call will connect or your incoming call will ring. Data service is basically weak enough to be non-existent, 0-1 bar of 3G or 4G. No matter the number of bars, no web page will load completely.

We have one bar for a 1 / 4 mile around Crab Cove. Maybe if there was a Verizon park in Alameda, we could enjoy our outdoor time better.

Calls consistently drop multiple times during a conversation

Our reception has gotten much worse over the past several weeks (starting in 11 / 2016 or so). We have one bar of service, people on the other end of the line frequently can't hear us, and calls are dropped regularly. As my partner and I both frequently work from home (like many others in the Bay Area), the deterioration in reception has become a major problem.

As of December 2016. Sprint coverage within San Francisco and the Peninsula area has becoming measurably worse than the prior year. And even then it was not great, but now is terrible. The number of time I receive no data errors and not connected has rusen to dozens per day. The low rate is no worth the frustration. I am counting down the months to when I can switch without penalty.
